Dead Man's Fingers part 1 Webcomic? I guess? A short horror comic about a stain.

Fun fact: the sperm whale is called that because of a substance found within its great dome called spermaceti. Whalers originally thought the creatures were quite literally filled with cum, because spermaceti has a similar viscosity and look to sperm. Spermaceti even translates to whale sperm!

Inb4 we get terrified comments about the plague: yersinia pestis is easily treatable with antibiotics. The few deaths we do still get annually are unfortunately due to poverty & resource distribution, which is a whole other conversation about the availability of medicine in impoverished communities.

Among other incidents there was a man who would send me fetish content and no matter how I told him I do not consent to it, he continued. When I blocked him I was approached in a cafe by another woman about being ableist for doing this as "he can't help it" and I was "deliberately isolating him"

Everywhere I look lately a cis-Male comic creator is announcing a female-led project whilst my timelines are flooded with accounts of SA, both adult & minor, and I’ve never been more aware of living in a Patriarchal society.

Realmguard has instantly become one of my favourite comics this year. The writing? The art? The combination? My heart UGH. Lorenzo Tammetta and @runwithskizzers.bsky.social are brilliant. I mean - look at these characters - LOOK AT THEM!!!!
