Loved this sculpture. It is very quiet inside.
Spherical sculpture made from stacked and mortered slabs of granite. There is an opening that allows you into the inside where there is a bench that fits 3. You can't see it but there is a round skylight in the ceiling. The sphere is in the woods. It is very peaceful inside.

Was up near Algonquin park for a week doing not much.
Mist rising over a lake under blue sky. Leaves on the trees are changing colour. Deck chaurs overlook the beach and lake. Why can't I get abducted by fae and not go back to work?

I found some lobster mushrooms but they were well past optimal eating stage. #fungifriends My phone camera is clearly seeing things through sunshine lens. The world is not that yellow.
A mutant blob of mutilated mushroom overtaken by parasitic fungi and turned into a bright orange lobster mushroom. Usually tasty, this one smelled of rotten shrimp and was covered in happy bugs. Needless to say, I didn't eat it.

The tomatoes are starting to ripen. Right now it is delightful, later it will be overwhelmingly monstrous.
