The article says it’s because the GOP/MAGA groups waited til the last minute to reserve slots, whereas the others bought the airtime a long time ago
But that money may have come too late, forcing the president’s group to pay much higher rates because of the shrinking availability of air time. Four Republican Senate campaign officials said groups that reserved advertising time last spring paid much lower rates than MAGA Inc. and its affiliated groups.

Completely unsurprising that the police ballot initiative is supported by the PPB and a car dealership owner 🙄 and he owns big pink. Horrific. Thank you for your great reporting!
The initiative supporters, which include the Portland police Association, car dealership owner Jeff Swickard and former police city Council candidate Bob simril, refiled the addition on Feb. 25, a day after a judge ruled the original petition lacked clear ballot language.

A man marrying a woman 20+ years younger than him is *such* an obvious sign of his complete lack of judgment—basically impossible that he views women as real, full people. And yet society granted him one of the highest positions of power in the country. Gotta love patriarchy! (This pic really PMO)
Engagement announcement in a newspaper from January 2011. Young blonde woman, 22 years old and looks like it, standing behind a year old white man, 46 years old and looks like it. She has her arms wrapped around his shoulders showing off her engagement ring. It’s Chelsea brooke doss (Rose) and John Rose.

Rubio in that pic looks like my cat in this pic
Cat sitting on ground on a Persian rug, gently lit from behind, it is daytime, peeking around a coffee table corner. You can see his paws and tail, and approximately 2/3 of his face.

😇 thank you for your work, it brightens up my office! (I’m a lawyer so I like to say the picture on the left is me devising case strategy, and the one on the right is me drafting briefs)
Two illustrations in wood frames sitting on a wooden shelf. One of a pensive frog sitting on a rock looking over a foggy river, one of a mole in farmer clothes getting ready to do farm work.

This was all excellent, but this passage in particular really hit
Not every apology from an abusive man needs to be understood as a cynical manipulation. But nor should a reluctance to forgive by abuse victims or their allies be understood as selfish, cruel, embittered or withholding. It is seemingly always women and other marginalized groups who are told of the virtues of forgiveness—and it is always their anger and resentment that creates the greatest discomfort for those in power. In a culture where sexual violence has rarely been understood as real violence—regarded instead as a private prerogative of manhood, on the one hand, or as a triviality exaggerated by overwrought women, on the other—a refusal to forgive can be understood instead as a persistent insistence on the wrongness of sexual abuse. Forgiveness allows both the perpetrator and the surrounding community to return to the status quo ante, something they are often very eager to do. But non-forgiveness, grudge holding, and unyielding expressions of anger or hurt refuse this forgetting. In that sense, non-forgiveness can be, indeed, a signal of the victim’s defiant self-respect; of her refusal to allow the wrong done to her to be treated as if it—as if she—does not matter.
