Me, when I'm emerging from a puff of smoke in the forest.

MÖRKTOBER Day 11: Ear Testing out another solo journaling concept. The idea is that throughout the scenario, you have a set number of journaling pages to "spend" by writing about your adventure/character. When your journal is full, the game ends.

I'm going to be at an event tomorrow, so not sure if I'll be posting so... #MÖRKTOBER 10 - Arrow Godshead Arrow Death is Change. (tip of the hat to JJBA)

uneven blackletter text at top and bottom of page for "Godshead arrow"
A picture of a stylized arrowhead on the left, with text on top of it: "Death is Change"

on the right with a red background:

"One killed by a Godshead Arrow rolls d6.
On a 1, they transform into a monster (GM’s Choice)

On the ninth day of #Mörktober, FLAG (for Pirate Borg). Art by me. Text by @metamer.bsky.social #pirateborg #mörkborg #TTRPG

An illustration of a pirate with a Jolly Rodger flag seemingly possessed and trying to violently constrict its victim who is screaming in terror and trying to rip it away. The text reads: Momento Mori Once a possession, now possessed by a ghost with nothing better to do than torment the living. HP 16 Morale - No Aror Smother d6 Suffocation Test Toughnoess DR12 to break free on each subsequent turn. Masquerade. Until it moves, indistinguishable from a mundane flag.

#MÖRKtober Day 9: Flag The Faceless King's strength and dominion is told through the flags brandished by his most violent warriors, elongated by the stitched faces of his supposed enemies and oppressors

a photo of an ink drawing on an artist trading card depicting some sort of armored warrior standing triumphantly on top of a boulder, with a spiked mace in its left hand. Attached to its back is a long pole with a flag made of stitched together faces blowing in the wind. On top of the flag pole is the upper part of a skull.

Today's is a simple one (on my end at least), I just wanted to focus on the texture of the arrow head. (: @knavesquill.bsky.social wrote the mechanics and text as always! #mörktober #mörkborg #ttrpgart #ttrpg #describedart #digitalart #artsky #inktober2026 #inktober

A digitally drawn arrow head, carved out of dark stone with a vulture skull within the form. White highlights were drawn over the black shape to highlight the shapes of flakes carved away from the stone.
The text states:
10. Arrow
Rot-Hoard Arrowhead
Chipped, worn arrowhead of dull green stone; cool to the touch. If held flat in-palm, it points to the nearest corpse with any amount of valuables on them. Once the indicated body is sacked, the stone points to the next closest corpse. Carrion feeders are drawn to you while using the pointer.

Day 10 of #MÖRKTOBER with "Arrow"! This accursed bow can only be fired once before dissolving into rancid sludge and choking smoke. The arrow can strike anyone that it has seen with its dripping eye and never misses! Be absolutely sure who you want skewered when unleashing this horrible ammunition.

#MÖRKtober Day 10: Arrow You don't know what it is or which member of your group it's after, but it's been following you for weeks. You can't seem to kill it, only slow it down from a distance. But you're certain you don't want it catching up to you.

No 37 #TroikaRPG ("Effigy" prompt for #MÖRKTOBER ) inspired sketch, from my wip. Stumbling into a hrove, PCs find a mesmeric effigy, surrounded by several skeletons, all arrayed as if regarding the statue. PCs are at risk of falling in love & might refuse to leave the Grove.

A skeleton clings to an effigy of a fertility spirit, the skeletons head between the statues robust bosom. The effigy has a red jewelled lodged in its "navel". The label reads "Mesmeric Effigy". Inspired by my Troika RPG project and the "Effigy" prompt for #MÖRKTOBER.

I don't have time for this, but I did a #Mörktober. 3 to 5 minutes per prompt only. So it's super messy and wonky, but fun.

A sketchbook page, with art done in black pen and ink wash. A short, 8 panel comic based on the Mörktober prompts. Panel 1: a dude sitting down with a shield on his back. The shield depicts a goat head. Panel 2: close up of a cursed hand. Something like a fungus is growing on it. Panel 3: close up of chin and neck. The dude wears a pendant with a glyph on it. Panel 4: He is done sucking marrow from a small bone. Panel 5: he inspects a tattered cape. Panel 6: he looks at mist coming from a dark doorway. Panel 7: he kicks over a stone effigy. Panel 8: a wailing comes from the doorway. Below that panel a long banner, depicting a three headed bat.

#Mörktober the ninth, Flag.

Monochromatic drawing of a closely packed warband holding aloft a war banner. Their eyes are all aglow. All around them pale fungi wither and recoil.

The text reads:
The Banner Risen

When first they died, they felt the threads of the Worm dig into their skin. Only her faith burnt them away, and let the banner begin its work. With each death they lose more of their self, and the Branching Worm can afford to wait.

Roaming band of soldiers sent by the chu church, led by a Templar who abandoned her name and took this mission to atone for a shame she brought upon Josilfa's cause.

Unknown to all but her, they were sent beneath a banner that would refuse them their deaths.

Upon defeat, should the banner yet remain, they shall rise once more. Destroy the banner and only stragglers will remain; put them out of their misery.
