On the tenth day of #Mörktober, the beetles swarm (for Pirate Borg; art by me, text by @metamer.bsky.social)

A sketch of a cucubano beetle specimen is set as an example of what is made up into a swarm that covers the lower half of a male's face; numerous beetles gather and drape like a beard. The text reads: The Beetled Beard: Fearsome beetles clinging together. The wearer can use their action to dislodge the beetles toward an opponent, which they attack until reduced to 0 HP. The straggling survivors then return to repopulate their numbers over the course of the next day.
