macOS 27 fixes a whole lot of issues, but boy is the new Siri AI / Spotlight ugly. I mean a gradient from black to transparent. They put so much work into redesigning spotlight for liquid glass and now this… I hope they’re still working on it.

The current “State of CSS” survey **again** puts all kinds of wildly different disabilities into the same categories. Color blindness and being legally blind for example. The results of this question aren’t worth a penny if you don’t offer more granular options. #a11y #accessibility

Im ICE gibt’s schon interessante UX zu bestaunen. In welchem Wagen bin ich?

Monitor im ICE. Er zeigt den ICE 721 nach München hbf. und die nächsten Haltestellen. In der rechten Spalte in der ersten Zeile ein Pfeil nach oben und eine Zahl 22, in der zweiten Zeile ein Zug Wagen Symbol, die Zahl 21 umrandet von einem abgerundeten Rechteck. Die Zahlen sind gleich groß.

@freakshow Danke an Arne für den Tipp mit dem Schuko auf Doppel-Euro-Adapter für wackelfreies Laden in ICEs. Extrem gut investierte 1,60€.

Yearly data highlights a "Caffeine Spike" in March with a productivity peak of 78, followed by a "Holiday Slump" of 60 in December. Nobody can convince me, that this is good design.

macOS Tahoe settings app. The left left sidebar has been scrolled down, so that the transparent search field that has the word "Search" in it, overlaps with the underlying list item that says "general". Both words overlay and visually merge together, so that it is barely readable.
