Saddened to learn today of Martin Karplus’ passing over the weekend. He was an absolute luminary and founding force in computational chemistry and biophysics. His influence will be felt for many generations of scientists. May he rest in peace. #chemsky #compchemsky

Not 1 but 2 great losses to the community! RIP Prof. Martin Karplus. At first I thought there was confusion with Sir Fraser, but was just confirmed by the ISIS institute in Strasbourg, where I was until 1 year ago.
