Despite privately justifying these cuts as being caused by a lack of funds, the board has been using Foundation money to throw lavish, expensive parties for themselves that get covered in outlets like Vogue. www.vogue.com/slideshow/to...

For more background on what's happening, I recommend visiting savetomhouse.info. A new board took over, stopped paying rent on the house, fired everyone, cancelled all programs, and moved much of the archive to an undisclosed location.

Open Letter to the Board of @tomoffinland.org, from former Artists in Residence We are deeply concerned by the lack of transparency and abrupt interruption of several programs, including the artist in residence program, by the current administration. archive.is/GvKuL

I sincerely love the Foundation and being there changed the trajectory of my career. I think that, as leather queers, it's vital that we understand our history and grapple with it directly. This article is me trying to do that. I hope it resonates with you 🥾❤️

I wrote an article for @readlux.bsky.social about my time at the Tom of Finland Foundation and the complexity of Tom's legacy. Here's a gift link: lux-magazine.com/article/tom-...

Railroads connecting people places and goods across a continent? That's fractionally as important as an internet search engine in a fake servile conversational tone attempting to incorrectly describe something you're searching for instead of directing you to think thing you're looking for,

I have seen my first bit of candy corn hate, and as the herald of "lol i bet it tastes like ass" jokes, my duty is clear. Come and preorder before prices go up and shipping begins October 1st. Happy Swalloween. www.funkittoys.com/shop/p/candy...

I love using my phone! But it's so much nicer not to be using it in a way that makes me hyper-aware of people who hate me. I can exist outside the panopticon and you can too!!

You know I haven't searched my own name online in nearly 3 years? It's made me so much less paranoid. Treat yourself. Use this site less. Social media is only a small fraction of the community you can access if you stop acting like a pundit

You don't need to share a take about everything that happens. Posting can be a form of self-harm. Learning these facts made my life one million times better.

Clavicular is a rapist and pimp who attempted vehicular homicide on livestream. He promotes a violently misogynistic white supremacist incel ideology with a special focus on body modification via steroids, peptides, stimulant use, surgery, and self harm. You need to take him seriously

I'm hyper-aware that criticizing a film made by a member of my small, trans community is going to come across as hostile and unkind, but I sincerely believe that the truest expression of love I can offer to my peers is taking their art seriously.

I think you should watch it, the filmmaker is a fan and tries to engage with him very sincerely but also just unavoidably starts seeing things that are ... hard to ignore

Not knowing a lot about this beforehand, the documentary blew my mind because TM feels exactly like the kind of hypocritical and ludicrous administrative grifting structure that he would make fun of in his films... like he makes art that feels so at odds with this obvious scam, it's painful

Really good and disillusioning documentary about the cult that David Lynch was a member of. I love Lynch's work and always will but oof... he was in so deep youtu.be/AM_AoK7RiNU?...
