That's all the software dev has been the past decade for me. Sometimes they want to access it via browser but also automatically delete files from the user's computers and things like that.

I'm like you. I like modern games but old games that "used to be great" are still great nowadays. I have one friend who exclusively likes retro games and one who exclusively likes modern games. The former is younger than me and the latter is older so it's not age. I don't get it either.

It's really weird to me. Feels like games is the only place this happens. I think it's because we grew up associating certain company logos with good games in the early days since a lot of them pumped up bad stuff. I remember seeing "Squaresoft" and knowing I was going to play a good game.

Some games on those systems ran at 60 but it was rare. MGS2 comes to mind. I do notice it more nowadays, too.

I use 60 as a default. Most computer monitors are at least 60hz AFAIK, as are most TVs and consoles often limit it to that as some sort of golden standard. But I'd still give options like 30, 120 and even an unlimited one even if it's nonsensical.

Also, I highly doubt it's that polished. I've been a professional software dev for over a decade and there's no such thing as perfect. You could spend years polishing the same software and there would still be polishing to do. You have to know when to stop or you'll never stop.

No he did get better at it but he got worse with naming them. Though "Fragile" is fine. The "man" names (Die Hardman, Deadman, Heartman, etc...) make my eyes roll. It's like he reached his limit and just names then whatever. I still love his work but yeah.
