The best therapist may not always be who you expected it to be. There was a specific period when the only thing I could bear to hear was a Swedish doom supergroup called Orchestra of Constant Distress. They’ve split up now, which makes me feel very strongly that the group only existed to help me.

Currently at the Arts Factory on Rue de Charonne there's an exhibition (and sale) of works by Daniel Johnston from their archive. The exhibition includes drawings and prints, and a few other collectors' items. #DanielJohnston #ArtsFactory #HiHowAreYou

Biro drawing of Daniel Johnston's frog character, Jeremiah. The text reads "The frog of innocence".

A poster for the 2008 Austin City Limits Music Festival. The poster includes colourful drawings of various characters, with the names of the artists playing at the festival written around the edge.

Image shows a naive drawing of Captain America fighting with the devil. The Devil is red.
The work has the title across the top: "Are The Dead Dancing".
Captain America says, "Are you evil?"
The Devil answers, "In my spare time".

A naive drawing of a skull with radiating lines and colours, stars and smaller skulls.
The text reads, "The end is never really over".

The interior of the recently reopened Notre Dame de Paris. The stone is so light and the colours are so bright.

Just a reminder that your local library has more than books! Many also have dvds, cds, video games, game systems, internet hot spots, streaming services, ebooks, audio books, park passes, museum passes, and so much more! Maybe it's time for a visit! ❤️📚

Years ago, long before I began collecting, Invader issued some ceramic tiles for sale. Several of these tiles were set up in London but, until yesterday, I hadn't seen one. So here it is. I have no idea if it's real or 'FAKE'. It's quite battered. Still, it's a survivor. #Invader #InvaderWasHere

Image of a window lintel with a rather battered, square white tile fixed to it. The tile has a black image of an Invader on it. Under the tile is graffitied the word 'fake'.

I saw the French hurdy-gurdy dronemasters France eight freaking years ago at the late lamented Liverpool Psych Fest and was blown away. Relentless hurdy-gurdy drone played at silly volume, what's not to love? Thanks to @babayagashut.bsky.social for bringing them over.

It's a bit random being here. It's like when I first joined the other place, with no idea what was going on. Luckily, I have already spotted some accounts that I used to follow before the other place became utterly unbearable. Noice. 😃
