I really don't want to look up the tanning bed one, if you want to look it up the character is called Columba lol

Trana Del Rey @mooooooo.qaf.men.ap.brid.gy · 10h

Apparently they edited the beheading out in a 2023 reedition but I didn't watch that, I watched the 2014 original lol invidious.nerdvpn.de/watch?v=o1xLqx…

Thinking of the DIVA who got beheaded in #SiempreTuyaAcapulco and the quee who got burned to a crisp in a tanning bed in #ElAmorInvencible Also that's not a joke, that happens in those telenovelas

100

Trana Del Rey @mooooooo.qaf.men.ap.brid.gy · 10h

Leg amputation is surprisingly mild, given how telenovelas love to innovate in giving their villains absolutely deranged cruel and unusual punishments. #AbismoDePasión

The 27-year-old gamedev that does its LibreOffice project briefs the old-fashioned way while Julie Ragbeer plays softly in the background for the sake of the level, the status, the high society

I thought he was in a car trunk, at what point did our male lead and mc love interest get a timebomb strapped to him????? How did I miss that? #AbismoDePasión

000

Trana Del Rey @mooooooo.qaf.men.ap.brid.gy · 10h

At least I got that LibreOffice project brief done and sent before the everlooming sense of doom crept back in

I love how the FSFE newsletter entries just have "newsletter" as a subject and an unformatted continuous wall of text as a body

Can I afford any of it? No lol But like I can dream even if I have nothing to bring to the table idk

I want a thick computer with a monitor integrated with quasi-spherical shape, preferably with a bubblegum pink shiny exterior. I don't want a gaming laptop with LED lights. I don't have the space for a tower. I want **her**

I do love the idea of the Chumby **as a physical object**. Like, I would a computer that **looks** like that, physically. That's girlypop tech right there.

Loved the intern, only person there to get the RPDR/RHOBH references, I was stressed asf tf out though

000

Trana Del Rey @mooooooo.qaf.men.ap.brid.gy · 12h

To be fair, I don't have that much experience in open source and my experiences of collaboration as an employee developer have been "oh, now I have to train an intern while trying to finish a project I've spent 90% of the way managing on my own while leadership ignores me, wig" so I'm biased asf […]

In all fairness, half the point is that I am a total control freak and would 100% reject your PR, if I left them open by mistake. What I'm trying to say is "why are we pretending the only thing standing at the other side of LLMs in libre software is maintainers and interdependence?"

Trana Del Rey @mooooooo.qaf.men.ap.brid.gy · 12h

Shoutout to whichever of you finished Chainrenders and Moodotaur while I was busy with Dallawan and Microwanderer /s

100

Trana Del Rey @mooooooo.qaf.men.ap.brid.gy · 12h

I disagree with the notion that the only two sides of the very complex prism are "using LLMs, destroying the planet, your tether to culture and yourself in the process" and "getting group-hugged by hundreds of collaborative maintainers who are helping you develop the thing." I'm not doing the […]

But I actually **don't** want things centralised. I like my hosting provider, it has pockets, but as the great MARINA once said, trust no bitx invidious.nerdvpn.de/watch?v=aQMKAZ…

Trana Del Rey @mooooooo.qaf.men.ap.brid.gy · 12h

I guess I've been trying to conceive something like that for a while, just with an unholy matrimony of the Forgejo API, the Taiga API and SMTP

I mean, it's great to have tasks/calendar linked with e-mail contacts linked with documents that you may want to send as part of the tasks. Maybe it's just a good idea.

100

Trana Del Rey @mooooooo.qaf.men.ap.brid.gy · 13h

Even my hosting's web mail interlinks e-mail with calendar with online file storage. Isn't that weird?

Trana Del Rey @mooooooo.qaf.men.ap.brid.gy · 13h

I promise I'm not trying to gatekeep, I wish I could share this insanity, but genuinely how does one even begin to explain this without assuming familiarity with the pop culture of Spain omfg

000

Trana Del Rey @mooooooo.qaf.men.ap.brid.gy · 13h

I wonder if we're going to get any "they look and sound like a tiny indie band who plays village festivals, why is everyone claiming they're a huge deal and the biggest act this year" takes from naive onlookers

100

Trana Del Rey @mooooooo.qaf.men.ap.brid.gy · 13h

The concept of #ChucheríasMari invidious.nerdvpn.de/watch?v=JrNrO8… Absolutely impenetrable to everyone who's never spent an afternoon in a Spanish village convenience store where the Cheetos are hanging on adhesive strips right next to the bleach. It's too "sólo Masibon"-coded

The gag is that now non-Spanish Eur*vision comentators who follow BeniFest because of the old association are going to be watching and someone is going to need to explain the concept of Ladilla Rusa to them www.ladillarusa.es

Do you think Vicco has worked on her vocals since #Nochentera in #BenidormFest 2023? I sure HOPE so :ablobcatcry:
