🌕MoonTonikawa🌕 @moontonikawa.bsky.social · 7hHopped back on my Hayate rewatch. It's been a while, but I luckily remembered where I left off lol. Anyway,in most cases, the studios just write their own stuff for anime original episodes when the need arises. I love that Hata-Sensei had involvement sometimes in these situations. 120

🌕MoonTonikawa🌕 @moontonikawa.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Definitely can make you feel old lol. Tonikawa, I was reading in its first year, so with that one, it's one I can actually say I've basically followed since the beginning, even pre-dating the anime. So those milestone years will certainly hit home as well lol. 110

🌕MoonTonikawa🌕 @moontonikawa.bsky.social · 05/10/2026While I haven't known about Kanon or Hayate for nearly that long, it's still fun to celebrate the 20 years of impact these have had. Both were major animes that helped me become a fan of anime in general (especially Hayate), despite both animes already being very old by then. 110

🌕MoonTonikawa🌕 @moontonikawa.bsky.social · 05/10/2026The comedy is also pretty fun at times. It gets overshadowed by Clannad for many people;however,Kanon is great in its own right if you judge it on its own rather than comparing it to a masterpiece. This is one I also have the DVD for if anyone remembers the collection post I made way back lol. 010
🌕MoonTonikawa🌕 @moontonikawa.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Happy 20th anniversary to the Kanon 2006 anime! I have fond memories of this since it was in the first group of anime I checked out to expand beyond Hata's stuff. Great writing and, of course, a bit emotionally heavy. I always loved how it has this cold, winter vibe throughout the entire anime. 211
