Please do not call the police when an ICE raid is occurring. It is highly unlikely that they will do anything to protect those being targeted, and much more likely that they will escalate the situation or allow it to continue. Their work is entrenched in systemic racism and oppression.

Sadly, what made me take a longer look at the article was the fact that ICE didn't just smash in the car window and take him anyway, as that's what they've been doing lately. I was like "hmm, ICE agents actually respecting that he wouldn't get out of his car - what bygone year was this?" 😒😑
