Konami's gotta put out new releases of the PS2 Castlevanias now, right? And of course Rondo and Sotn....

they don't ever mention this in the show but extended canon actually states that the reason kira's suits always appear with a lens flare is because some of the DNA used for his creation was actually from Michael Bay so he can just do that

I wonder what's up with that. Looking at your other comments it looks like you have the Kodansha release, which is the most recent one... I have half a mind to track down the earlier ones and see what terms they use, because I wonder if this is a change made partway through from the license-holder

Having long been aware of those tech bros who read my work as utopian porn, where they’ve taken that doesn’t exactly surprise me.

Actually I never really noticed that the designs are outright different, beyond proportions. Ceres has different wings, and the armour on Windam's shoulders is different

Noel, the Christmas Ghost @moonlitseer.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

I think it's easy to use Rayearth as the comparison here, since it's front and center. You can more easily see how the legs are way thicker than in the manga, which gives it more of a sense of power, I think. Like a big cat (though it's a wolf)

Noel, the Christmas Ghost @moonlitseer.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Yea, that's closer to their proportions in the anime. The manga def has more of the CLAMP signature thin-ness to it

A gloomy illustration depicting a statue/automaton from the POV of someone stranded on a beach. She have one knee on the ground,a lantern revealing her marble face, partially broken, revealing a mix of mechanical and organic materials beneath. The sky is greenish and misty. A lighthouse can be seen far in the background illuminating the scene.

MAD ANGLER PRESS @retroanimechris.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

After a years long search for a copy, Mad Angler Press would like to formally introduce a 4K/HD scan of GUNSIGHT Phase 0, a text that is a cornerstone as to how we understand Mobile Suit Gundam's lore today. To view the text, please visit below:

The front cover of GUNSIGHT - Phase 0, illustrated by a young Haruhiko Mikimoto, in 1979. Gunsight served as the bedrock for understanding lore about 0079's universe and Mobile Suit Gundam and was released during Comiket 13. The text served as the basis for canonizing said lore for Gundam Century, was read actively by Studio II and Sunrise staff, praised by Yoshiyuki Tomino and Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, and has become indefinitely rare to acquire.

Scanned and uploaded for the first time in history by Mad Angler Press and Chris de la Bigne, for insight into your future.

And I think the remake may be drawing more from the anime as a result, but won't know for sure till it gets there!

010

Noel, the Christmas Ghost @moonlitseer.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

The unfortunate thing is the anime does go a slightly different direction from the manga, since it's like VASTLY shorter
