I want to keep playing but running around the map so much between story battles just feels so exhausting.

I do enjoy the writing in FW and experiencing the story from different perspectives but part one really does feel more and more like a slog the more I play it (especially on cai's path). It doesn't help that the different exploration mechanics between paths feels really gimmicky.

One of my favourite things about working with cats is "Hey we're bringing in another cat, have you met [cat]?" "Oh yeah I worked with him last week, he kept grabbing my leg. He's great, I love him."

I was interested in FF Resonance at first but I really wasn't sold by the demo. But also, when I saw that it involved summoning characters from other FF entries it immediately made me think of FE Engage. Which is one of the least appealing similarities I can imagine.

potentially very frequently is just... why? They had a decent method in cyberpunk, why use something that's worse in every way?

Pie (7.56) @mooncatenjoyer.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

I was interested in The Witcher 3's new transmog system, hoping it would be functionally similar to cyberpunk's "you picked it up even once? congrats you can transmog it" approach. But locking it behind the master crafters and making it cost money per piece in a game that can have you swapping gear

Pie (7.56) @mooncatenjoyer.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

I don't understand why some games add transmog systems but make it something that can't be unlocked until half way through the game and/or give it really arbitrary restrictions.

#OC_Tober Day 12 (Fire): Every October, I like to spend the month drawing other people's OCs. This year I'm incorporating a "five elements" (Wuxing) theme. Today's random OC winner from the fire element group belongs to @rhunathecatte.bsky.social! 🎨 🫶

Digitally drawn portrait of a seasoned miqo'te woman with dark hair, bright sea-green eyes, and yellow armored monk robes with red accents as seen in FFXIV. She is standing with her arms crossed casting an imposing gaze. The character is shown on a white-bordered card-like layout, with an orange fire icon symbolizing the Wuxing element "fire" and an orange background. The character's name "Rhuna" is written in white lettering at the top of the card.

This includes Miah, hence why I haven't been able to nail down her lore in a way that I'm happy with.

Pie (7.56) @mooncatenjoyer.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

I think the reason I'm always second guessing my OCs is because I often feel like they just aren't very good. Specifically I always feel like there's something wrong with them so I constantly feel the need to fix them. And nothing feels like it does the trick so I'm always left feeling dissatisfied.

Posting unlabelled gore is one of the fastest ways to earn a mute from me. And while I try to give mutuals who repost it the benefit of the doubt, I have unfollowed people I think highly of simply because they repeatedly reposted unlabelled media. I don't enjoy it but I'll do it if I feel I need to.

Pie (7.56) @mooncatenjoyer.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

LRP but I feel like even for people who enjoy gore and similar content, its worth setting graphic media to warn. If only so they can see when something is unlabelled and do the considerate thing and not repost unlabelled gore. I know its not always intentional. But it is often avoidable.

pls tag your gore as sensitive media it's really not that hard and it's the reason the label exists in the first place i'm not trying to be a censor freak but there's no way for ppl to curate exposed organs, guts and mutilation because the bsky bot only cares about pussy and tits

"cat themed AI 'news' page that posts slop generated thumbnails of a cat reporting on major events (including horrific tragedies)" might be one of the most repulsive things I've seen on this site but apparently that's what this post attracted

I had a dream where my cat was somehow duplicated and I woke up worrying "Wait did I put out enough food for both Felixes?" for a bit before coming to my senses

Pie (7.56) @mooncatenjoyer.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

I'll be completely honest there's a pretty good chance that "haha bsky sent my joke to the shadow realm" is funnier than the joke itself was.
