Creepshow (1982) A fun horror anthology with a lot of fun stylization. If you like Tales from the Crypt you'll definitely have a fun time here. I really enjoyed the last two stories especially.

The Vourdalak (2023) A really beautiful looking gothic horror that goes for a retro sort of filming technique. Amazing puppetry and practical effects too! This was very fun, especially as someone who hasn't watched a lot of foreign films.

Half-Life (1998) My first time experiencing this game and it was very fun! Lot of fun action and platforming. Not sure if I should play the expansions first before getting to the sequel but I do wanna play Half-Life 2 eventually.

Big Brother 28 (2026) Easily the worst season of the show in years with a really lackluster/unlikable cast, a lot of microaggressions, and a lot of rigging/production assistance towards the vets who just steamroll the season. Devens is a terrible winner and people like Lala & Jason deserved better.

Dark Places by Gillian Flynn (2009) An excellent mystery thriller with a really complicated and morally grey cast of characters. The constant shifts between different perspectives and flashbacks to the past were really well done and I had a lot of fun reading this. Best to go in blind for sure!

Needing comp wins to survive is not good gameplay on either survivor or big brother, and relying on production and twists to bail you out and give you an advantage automatically makes you a bottom tier winner if he goes on to win

He got rid of Rome but that did nothing but expedite his target. He wins comps in order to survive and Dee does more of the strategic and social heavy lifting considering many of the pre jurors and jurors like Dee but not Devens. He's also benefitted by having a major dickrider and fan voted powers.

#bb28 I'm willing to give Dee her flowers but this narrative that the newbies have done nothing all season when most of them didn't even have an opportunity to make game moves because they didn't win comps or be given overpowered advantages by fans is wild. Name one game move Devens has made.

I Love LA (Season 1, 2025) A show that had no business being as funny as it was. It definitely has a very specific style of humor that I feel like won't resonate with older audiences but I think most people will find something fun from the show. Maia, Tallulah, and Alani were incredibly funny.

Mickey7 by Edward Ashton (2022) A book with a lot of interesting concepts and potential but I feel like the momentum of the book is killed constantly and it took till the last 6 chapters for things to really happen. Curious about the movie adaptation though. Generally just an okay book.

Blacksad: Under the Skin (2019) A mystery telltale-es game with a great story, but has some awkward controls & slow loading times. The story is at least engaging & I love how the game's choices play into the general grey morality found in a lot of mystery and noir stories. Love Blacksad as a lead.

Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero (1997) A game that suffers from really janky controls and annoying stage hazards and enemies, but thankfully with the Legacy Kollection release is made more playable. Not a great game but I respect it for it's lore & for introducing Fujin, Sareena, Quan Chi, etc.
