Creepshow (1982) A fun horror anthology with a lot of fun stylization. If you like Tales from the Crypt you'll definitely have a fun time here. I really enjoyed the last two stories especially.

The Vourdalak (2023) A really beautiful looking gothic horror that goes for a retro sort of filming technique. Amazing puppetry and practical effects too! This was very fun, especially as someone who hasn't watched a lot of foreign films.

Half-Life (1998) My first time experiencing this game and it was very fun! Lot of fun action and platforming. Not sure if I should play the expansions first before getting to the sequel but I do wanna play Half-Life 2 eventually.

Big Brother 28 (2026) Easily the worst season of the show in years with a really lackluster/unlikable cast, a lot of microaggressions, and a lot of rigging/production assistance towards the vets who just steamroll the season. Devens is a terrible winner and people like Lala & Jason deserved better.

Dark Places by Gillian Flynn (2009) An excellent mystery thriller with a really complicated and morally grey cast of characters. The constant shifts between different perspectives and flashbacks to the past were really well done and I had a lot of fun reading this. Best to go in blind for sure!

I Love LA (Season 1, 2025) A show that had no business being as funny as it was. It definitely has a very specific style of humor that I feel like won't resonate with older audiences but I think most people will find something fun from the show. Maia, Tallulah, and Alani were incredibly funny.

Mickey7 by Edward Ashton (2022) A book with a lot of interesting concepts and potential but I feel like the momentum of the book is killed constantly and it took till the last 6 chapters for things to really happen. Curious about the movie adaptation though. Generally just an okay book.

Blacksad: Under the Skin (2019) A mystery telltale-es game with a great story, but has some awkward controls & slow loading times. The story is at least engaging & I love how the game's choices play into the general grey morality found in a lot of mystery and noir stories. Love Blacksad as a lead.

Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero (1997) A game that suffers from really janky controls and annoying stage hazards and enemies, but thankfully with the Legacy Kollection release is made more playable. Not a great game but I respect it for it's lore & for introducing Fujin, Sareena, Quan Chi, etc.

#bb28 The concept of Devens going home on a Drew HOH because Devens was foolish enough to volunteer for the block at final 9 and Drew was dumb enough to take him up on that

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 16 (2024) A season that really delivers on runway looks and lip syncs! Maybe not my favorite season but a very strong one regardless. I loved Sapphira, Nymphia, Mhi'ya, Morphine, Megami, & Xunami in particular. This is a fun season from a performances standpoint.

Persona 3 Reload (2024) My first Persona game and a really great one! Loved the voice acting and story a lot. Major props to the English VAs. Gameplay felt engaging and easy to understand. Very thematically rich game with gorgeous art and designs.

Mortal Kombat 2 (2026) I put off this movie because of how much I didn't like the first but wow this movie blows the first out of the water in every way. Adeline Rudolph deserves all the love possible and as someone who feels fatigue from Johnny, he was handled so well here! Loved this as an MK fan

Amores Perros (2000) A really captivating crime drama! Interesting narrative with three different stories centered around one event. I enjoyed how the characters were all pretty complex but you still feel for the protags of each side of the story. Some rough subject matter but I recommend it!

Persona 3 - Spring of Birth (2013) A solid adaptation of Persona 3's first third or so of the game. I find it odd they split this adaptation into 4 films instead of doing a full anime. That said, voice acting is great and I loved the use of the game's soundtrack within the film.

X-Men '97 (Season 2, 2026) A season with severe pacing issues and a lot of bloat (way too many characters). There's some fun moments here and there but we need to stop doing 8 episode seasons. This is getting ridiculous. Also Rogue's writing across both of these seasons feels really sexist to me.

It Takes Two (2021) Fun game with an okay story. Definitely a lot of fun gimmicks but could've benefited from some stronger writing. It's kinda hard to believe the main characters are falling back in love at points until the final hour of the game.

RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars 11 (2026) A season with a lot high highs but a really lackluster finally quarter of the season where a lot of plot lines just never really get concluded in the way you'd want it to. Happy for the winner but I feel like the production meddling of it wasn't needed.

The Green Knight (2021) A visually stunning film with a very interesting plot. Dev Patel is not only incredibly handsome but also very elegant and fitting for the role of Gawain. I like how the story of the film is something that requires a bit of analyzing and isn't completely straightforward.

One of Them Days (2025) A bit silly but overall a very fun time! Keke Palmer and SZA had great chemistry. Funny moments and the tone reminds me of a mix of Superbad and Bottoms

Date Everything (2025) A cute game with a fun, diverse cast of characters where there's someone for everyone! Writing can be a little millennial coded at points but is generally very sweet and funny. I recommend for anyone who likes visual novels and/or dating sims.

Survivor Philippines (2012) A really fun season with no real major slow points! Some not notable early boots and a disgraced finalist aside, the cast is pretty top heavy with some fun characters like Penner, Lisa, Malcolm, etc. The winner has an interesting story and the filming local was cool.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) A fun movie that really captures the late 80s/early 90s vibe the TMNT go for. The costumes look a little wonky but the action choreography and costume acting is genuinely pretty good with some great puppet work! A fun and nostalgic watch.

Bound (1996) Genuinely very tense!! I was very captivated by the plot and I had a lot of fun. I haven't been this stressed watching a movie in a good while. Gina Gershon in particular is such a vibe in this movie, love her and Jennifer Tilly here.

Dear White People (2014) I love how nuanced and complex a lot of the main characters were here. A lot of differing perspectives on race relations while also providing a lot of satire on the social politics of the time. The movie definitely leaves me interested in giving the Netflix show a look!

Jessica Jones (2015-2019) One of the more adult oriented Marvel shows which threw me off when I started it, but this was a good ride! Not as good as Daredevil, but Jess is a great & interesting character. Malcolm, Trish, and Hogarth also had great arcs across the show. S1 is kinda the peak though.

Survivor Marquesas (2002) A fun season that's notable for being the first to have major shifts in power + the first BIPOC winner in Vecepia, who I do wish got a more shining edit. Also liked Sean, Neleh, John, & Kathy. That said, there was a lot of moral righteousness that was annoying to watch.

Slay (2024) A fun romp that knows it's campy and dumb and revels in it. Some effects don't look great but the humor makes up for a lot of the movie's lower budget. Heidi N Closet and Crystal Methyd in particular are huge delights and the actress who played Sheila deserves all the flowers possible.

Among Us (2026) A fun miniseries that's surprisingly pretty dark and adult despite the PG rating? Kinda shocked with what they got away with it to where I wouldn't exactly say this is for kids. I could see this becoming an anthology with diff casts each season a la Knives Out.

The Broken Hearts Club (2000) A very sweet movie that puts a lot of focus on a supportive found family that works through their own problems with one another. Surprised by how little baseball actually played into the film but I don't mind that, it's better that the characters were the focus.

Pulse (2001) A y2k era horror film surrounding technology and the internet that really nails having a confusing plot that adds to the scares of the film. The movie makes good use out of having a lot of different scare tactics throughout and it makes me wanna watch more Japanese horror films.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion (2025) A really fun, retro style beat em up with story telling and voice acting that feels right out of a 90s Saturday morning cartoon. All the characters are animated very well and it's just an overall stylish and entertaining game!

Big Brother 5 (2004) An old school season that is fun but definitely feels a bit forgotten compared to some of the other classic seasons. Some morally questionable production decisions aside, I liked the general storytelling of the season. My favorites were Karen, Nakomis, and Diane.

Survivor 50 (2026) A rather mediocre/disappointing season with a promising cast with a few standouts (cirie, devens, tiffany, christian) held back by a really dumb format with a lot of twists & a bad boot order. This season had a lot of missed potential and should've been 39 days with less twists.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (2007) A tonally darker entry in the franchise that introduces a mostly new main cast. I never finished the game when I was younger so I'm glad I got to now with the remastered trilogy. That said, cases half the cases were good while the other two were meh. Had fun tho!

In The Mood For Love (2000) I really liked a lot of the music choices and the way certain scenes in this movie were shot. It really fit the time period the story takes place in and it really fit the cramped sort of vibe an apartment building would have. Very melancholic and lonely feeling film.

Daredevil: Born Again (S2, 2026) A season that improves upon the first but still has some hiccups along the way, but I feel the season is fully redeemed by it's last two episodes. Daredevil himself feels sidelined through a good chunk of the season so hopefully S3 does a better job at that.
