Keep writing. You didn’t create all these fictional people and ruin their lives just to abandon them halfway through.

Before you ask, I highly doubt I will choose to net anything from this— there’s a weird warp on the corner. But I’ll be keeping in in my full illustrations collection since it’s pretty and maybe over time I’ll consider how it’ll go. With that, I’ll be holding off for the rest of the year lol.

#WeeknightWriters Q4: My biggest excitement is getting my outline finished so that when November comes around I’ll have a cohesive story. Normally I’m a pantser and not a planter, so outlining is somewhat foreign to me (at least the part where I write it down).

What I’m trying to say is that humans may be (ecologically) apex predators, but specifically human males are apex^2 because they live even shorter than female counterparts (generally), often because they do stupid shit and think they’re invincible only to like, get electrocuted on a fence or smthn.

000

monochroMayhem|| f: 🍓Riddle @monochromayhem.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

So wasps are apex predators among insects, more specifically in their ecological niche. Apex predators tend to (but don’t always) die younger than other insects around them. This is often because they are at the peak of their niche and thus do not fear things they really should be fearing.

Human Artists! Use one piece only to convince people to follow you! A bit old but I liked doing this piece of all my pieces— it took me two whole weeks. This piece is entirely hand-drawn and even it’s not perfect, that’s not the point. The Cirque only asks its guests to behave and be merry.

A full-body image of Mauve, Thanadoxy of Miracles, with outstretched arms and a billowing capelet. Behind him stand a circus in embossed silhouettes, and at the top there is a black sky full of diamond-stars that bleeds like ink down the page. Across the dark sky is text reading “Phantasmagoria”.

I’m definitely an elitist fuck about it because nothing grinds my gears worse than people getting mad at rhythm games that demand you actually try not to rely on hand-eye coordination and feel the beat. But really?! Sneezy Moon 1 is too hard?!? Soda Hop 2??

I’m currently in shock and awe that people are calling Rhythm Heaven Groove “hard”. Like… it’s not easy, but it’s a game that teaches you to have rhythm. It’s a game that can (for the most part) be played without eyesight. It even has tts for sight impairment.

So after much consideration I’ve decided to re-read my entire Sonic Action-Adventure fic to get back in track and write again. There’s so much OC lore that I actually have to start at the beginning or at least skim to see what I need to do.

There’s also an ther elements they forgot to give a member to, like no Geo character from Sumeru and no Dendro for Mondstadt. Like back when the game first released I totally got it but like, it’s 2026 and we still don’t have a desert-dwelling Geo boi (or girl) for the Nation of Wisdom?!

You know what, absolutely valid! And yes I also would like a figure skaters that isn’t just the Coppelia & Coppelius world bosses. I could see them being from Inazuma (Yuzuru Hanyu) or maybe Nod-Krai (Sonja Henie) depending on the person they inspire the design from!

#WeeknightWriters Q2 How does everyone get the motivation to focus on their original works rather than their fanfictions? To Marchase, the best form of economy is where everyone gets to enjoy the thrill of haggling and making deals, because it’s a form of communication understood beyond the dividing grounds of language. It also helps engage others in culture. Kafiyeh is one of those towns that’s pretty open as a result

020

monochroMayhem|| f: 🍓Riddle @monochromayhem.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

The sailors are always willing to help not only because it’s important to their trade— which is itself a form of their faith— but because economic and social flourishing directly benefits their own success. Marchase isn’t against gaining capital until it comes at the cost of the least of others.

monochroMayhem|| f: 🍓Riddle @monochromayhem.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Sailors answer to two things: the Sea, and their Throne. The latter is Marchase, God of Sailors and Merchants, and is primarily responsible for assisting in settling disputes should the town be unable to settle matters civilly. Often in charge of his flock, Marchase directs sailors to help.

#Septversary 9/1 “Community” Community is how Kafiyeh thrives. The cornerstone of sea trading and the gem of the Mala’vik, Kafiyeh sits at a trading crossroads of land and sea, and as such, its people are colorful and varied. Knowing the hardships of life well, sailors are always the first to help.
