35, she/her, I write sometimes as monkeyfish on Ao3, mostly FF7 stuff. This space will probably be a mix of fandom and personal blabbering. ✨ archiveofourown.org/users/monkeyfish

As I can’t format italics here, have a screenshot instead 😅

“You left yesterday and didn’t answer your phone,” Tseng says in greeting. “Why?”

“I…” Reno inhales deeply. His intention was to fuck away the pain in New Wall after his fight with Elena. That is *not* what happened.

"You’ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who’s coming to save you?" I’m doomed.

Screenshot of the following text:

Elena frowns. “Have you seen your face?” The wheels of her chair squeak as she pushes away from her desk, rushing to get the first aid kit on the wall before squeezing in to sit with Reno on the couch.

“You can’t come.” *Please stay here where it’s safe.*

Before he opens the door to step outside, he flips the sign to *Closed* to give her space.

“Reno,” she pleads. Her voice brings him pause, on the verge of breaking as her rapid breaths increases.

It wasn’t often she found the time to throw a glance out the window during her shifts, but even with the busy afternoon rush at the bar, she couldn’t help herself.

The rainy clouds finally parted just as the sun was setting, painting the sky in the most beautiful hues of pink and purple, orange and deep red, perfect for a dose of melancholy intrusive thoughts in her lonely mind.

She froze, feeling pressure build behind her eyes as she stared at the natural beauty and wondered if her long-since departed friends spared her a thought at all anymore like she did them, or if they were too busy with their new and exciting lives to ever come back to see her.

Tell me where you’re from with a food pic (I’m sorry)

Smalahove is a sheep's head that has been salt-cured, smoked and steamed. It is served whole, together with potatoes and mashed swedes, beer and aquavit. The eye is a delicacy.

From a future chapter of Safehouse. archiveofourown.org/works/47691592/…

He is speechless, lost for an explanation or an excuse, watching Tifa’s face continue to morph into different variations of confused, hurt, disappointed, angry. Denzel stands frozen waiting for a reaction when she starts to pace the bar, shaking her head in disbelief.

“What is happening?” she mutters, to herself more than any of them. “Reno, I thought…” She drifts off, and whatever it is she thought, she decides is best left unsaid, to Reno’s silent dismay.
