It's not. The main reason it happened is Ellison pushed for it. Zaslav did not want to be pushed out, which is why he turned down the initial offers and tried to go with Netflix which would have left him in power. But when Ellison kept upping the offers, eventually he had to fold.

The only flub on this week's Shocktober was you implying Howard Stern was no longer scoring points when he yelled "Dead Daddy" at Mancow for the 400th time. Mancow stating he wanted to claw Howard's eyes out 30 years later indicates that Howard doing that in fact did work.

Anyone seriously considering Jeff Jarrett’s Hall of Fam candidacy is not a serious person and is a great example of why Dave starts eligibility in wrestlers’ prime. All time dud of a main eventer. All time dud of w promoter. In addition 2002-2004 TNA is the worst product in wrestling history.

Realistically AEW is going to run these major arenas a maximum of once every two years, WWE gives them two shows a year and has required this kind of exclusivity in the past so it's not that weird for these arenas.

WWE monopoly on all buildings named Garden. While we don't know a list, WWE is blocking AEW from several major buildings, we know MSG and Little Caesars, TD Garden seems very likely given AEW had PPV level crowds for two TVs and has not returned for a PPV while WWE is running it pretty hard.
