Oooo excellent lighting and style here for Ennard, really sells how uncanny and creepy it is (as it should be, goated design).

I was busy yesterday, and forgot to post the newest video and link over here. Woops, my bad. Oh well, here it is for those of you who were wondering over here. Watch as I ramble and rank (and get some things wrong) about the weapon trailers of Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance.

Was not expecting to get any of the Tigrex’s honestly considering what I think of them, but well I answered as truthfully as possible with how I approach the Monster Hunter games. Here’s the quiz for people curious. burasut.com/en/monsterhu...

That’s fair, and honestly I stuck to that group with Ryugumon just to be safe and sure.

Well, saw this trend floating around parts of the internet. And after seeing @greenking26.bsky.social 's version, decided to join in. Liberator was the hardest one since I had to search up what Digimon belonged to that, and I didn't know a lot.

This is what the heart beats for, even in times as turbulent as these. The reminders that what we make and express are special, one of a kind, and so too are the people behind those brushes. Inspiring others to do the same.

I'm not even going to lie, the Pokethon has made me so emotional just seeing so many people be creative and draw. In the last 12 days they have drawn all 1025 pokemon, which is just insane and bizzare to me. So many people have drawn their own nuzlocke mons or picked up a pen for the first time.

I have no clue what the bottom left picture could entail, but I like what the other 3 may imply. 👀 Focusing more on Nata’s grudge against Arkveld? The hunter being shunned or disgraced? Wyveria’s ambitions and how the Guardians + Sild move on from that accursed past? Super excited either way.

We are going live on Youtube right now to settle an old score. It has been over a year since I last played, so close to the end. There is major rust to be had, but I WILL finish Hollow Knight Silksong today! www.youtube.com/live/ZzpHKyk...

Eh nothing like that in particular. Just some of the usual ya know: a comment in all caps asking why Lao is in ok, Ascendance being bad because of 3 returning monsters, salt with Teo being back, salt with Khezu, that “oh there goes the comment of defying expectations”, (loosely paraphrasing) etc.

A video or short getting a lot of traction is always a double edged sword. On the one hand, wow that dopamine from seeing all the support and numbers. 👀 On the other, god does it mean higher chances of more annoying comments and unpleasantness.

One of the rare instances where I proceeded to no-life, and complete the game in the following days after getting it. Was a very nice experience after Gates to Infinity not clicking, and had some neat inversions of the usual Mystery Dungeon story or tropes.

TheMonarchofDragons @monarchofdragons.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I was seriously saying "it can't be Elder trio level, it's seemingly way too important, it has to be something like Nergigante", just to have Teostra be announced. Like I don't mind Teostra, he got good in the past few games, but all that hype evaporated the moment of the reveal.

120

TheMonarchofDragons @monarchofdragons.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Well, that sure was Teostra from the hit video game franchise Monster Hunter in the new game and expansion Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance. On the plus side I ain't going to be bombarded and rushed for content, at most needing to do a Teostra short now.

🧵Long Sword - 1 day left They really delivered on the meme of this being the MH team's favorite weapon. Cause holy mother of god the movement, the rapid slashes, the energy chainsaw, the running Iai stance, Sakura Slash returning, all the combo's with Iai now.... it's insanity.

I absolutely *love*, random joe shmoe blank accounts coming into my comments, and assuming my entire history and experience with a franchise, just off a single short. Like oh my god lol, look how mad they are. Look at how much they hate the Westerners. The Westerners are why everything went wrong.

🧵Switch Axe - 2 days left I could feel myself salivating in delight with this trailer, wow. Some of the meatiest, most satisfying combos in all the showcases, amazing mechanic adjustments, more move variety, SOARING WYVERN BLADE.... it's just perfect. One of, if not the best showcase.

🧵 Lance - 3 days left I think this showcase is fine. Besides the guns it's probably been the tamest reaction for me personally in boosting what I expected. More pokes, more charges, more blocking. The offset slam is personally my favorite bit of the weapon showcase.

“It must be fake. That must be the answer! It’s all a setup and foreshadowing for this thing I want! Disregard the minutes of gameplay, the story, what’s been established, it must fit my narrative!” Fold and admit it’s bait, or show just how insecure you are.
