New lip sync (and lots of goofy improv bits from hosting) finally going up on YouTube tomorrow at noon PST! Will I see you over there? Photo by Brianna Shade

Like in the Titanic, Uptown cosplaying as Grell holds the waist of Momma Sammu cosplaying as Madame Red, arms outstretched. Grell peeks out from behind her, leaning towards the microphone in Madame Red’s hand as they improvise the scene while hosting the Cosplay Lip Sync Showdown event.

I am so excited to be helping host the "Great Pin Purge" in a couple weeks! I'll be on the live doing my best Vanna White (only make it spooky) while showing off some of the prettiest pins I've ever seen!

Hey, artists, in case you were wondering if your work matters: I'm a scientist working on climate change and biodiversity, and I would not be who I am today without The Lorax, The Secret of NIMH, Watership Down, The Last Unicorn, and The X-Files. I know I'm not alone. Thank you for all you do.

GenAI has polluted image search results, especially for animal pics. It’s now basically impossible to find accurate art references. Enter this: a repository of open-access, AI-free images of wild & exotic taxa. Artists creating *without AI* have blanket permission for derivative/transformative use.

I wrote about the worst people in the world, charting the depths of their depravity and vastness of their incompetence, and offered some thoughts about the opportunity presented by their failure to acknowledge reality and their refusal to access any form of human virtue. www.the-reframe.com/the/

It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too. EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them. Here’s our shareable guide ⬇️: (pt. 1/2)

KNOW YOUR
RIGHTS
IN CASE OF ICE:
CONOCE TUS DERECHOS
EN CASO DE ENCUENTRO CON ICE:

DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR.
ICE cannot enter your home without a warrant signed by a judge.
Tell the agents to show you the warrant by sliding it under the door.
NO ABRAS TU PUERTA.
ICE no puede entrar a tu casa sin una orden firmada por un juez. Diles a los agentes que te muestren la orden deslizándola debajo de la puerta.

ASK THEM
TO LEAVE.
If ICE doesn't have a warrant, tell them you do not consent for them to enter your home and ask them to leave. At work, ICE cannot enter employee-only areas without permission.
2

REMAIN SILENT.
You have the right to remain silent.
If the agents ask you questions, tell them,
"I wish to remain silent."
PERMANECE EN SILENCIO.
Tienes derecho a permanecer en silencio.
Si los agentes te hacen preguntas, diles:
"Deseo permanecer en silencio".

If anyone is wondering what kind of TTRPG player I am: Tonight, through some crazy rolls and roleplay, the BBEG, who is an exiled god, got turned into a mortal baby. I IMMEDIATELY WANTED TO GO OSYSSEUS ON THAT BITCH! Instead they named them Simon. If Simon has no haters I am dead.

"I'm cringe but I'm free" is a catchy meme phrase and all but it's also 100% true. Life is a lot more fun when u can just openly enjoy weird shit you like without worrying so much about peer pressure or what other ppl will think. Why live ur one precious life so beholden to other ppl's opinions of u

Above all, I am eternally grateful for the community and friends this show has led me to. I have made so many friendships with critters through conventions and cosplay that I know I'll have for the rest of my life and that's more valuable that anything in this world.

To the cast and crew of @criticalrole.bsky.social from a Nerd who spent over most of their life trying to find a solid gaming group; thank you for letting so many of us be a part of your stories and helping spread the love of TRPGs. No matter what happens tonight, I'm excited to see what's next.

Even if you do not create/consume/like NSFW media you must speak up for SWs and NSFW creators b/c the criminalizing and banning of it is just another step towards fascism. It will be used to target minority groups, LGBT, etc. and anything deemed "unsanitary" or "degenerate".
