Made my second thing today and managed to pick up my first burn while working at the forge lol One of the biggest rules of blacksmithing (opinion) is to keep your tools cool. I wasn’t doing that and the tongs got hot at the end. My hand slid up the tongs and, well, ow. Can’t wait to learn more :3

My first time stepping up to the forge ever, and I made this. Taking a round bar and turning it into a dinky little wall hook was incredibly satisfying! Is it pretty? Not really. Did I make it with my own two hands? Fuck yeah! :3 Lots to be desired with my hammer work, but I’ll get there.
