I really need to know why modern #audioengineer think this is an acceptable way to make movies. Can we please return to the days when movies had dialog you can hear clearly AND not have to scramble for the volume whenever the mix launches unprovoked assaults on our ears.

Something I noticed... OLED pixels are emissive right. No backlight means color and luminosity are directly related. This means that the entire encoded color range must fit between "off" and the highest brightness. Therefore, running OLED panels at low brightness crushes your color depth.

It is strange to me to see nation-wide news coverage to find one man who killed once with a gun, while the person who was killed is in turn responsible for thousands, possibly TENS of thousands of deaths. For some reason we have laws against murder with guns but not murder by corporate policy.
