An excerpt from an FA journal on the GoFundMe to keep the site functioning & free of 3rd-party advertisers that reads:

What makes this situation frustrating is that the bar for what advertisers consider “adult content” is very very low. For example they consider plus size characters, two characters hugging, and “barbie doll nudity” to be adult content, despite these being normal everyday things that are not adult at all. This is why you may see other sites with restrictions on how characters can’t be posed or dressed “too provocatively.”

We receive a daily list of items that they have flagged as violations and have to sort through them. If they’re legitimate violations, we re-rate them. If they aren’t, we don’t touch them. Submissions that are not violations of our policies are still held against us.

We have had many email conversations, Zoom calls, and even an in-person meeting with representatives to help resolve this to no avail.

Given this uphill (and frankly annoying) struggle, if properly funded we would like to aim towards removing third-party advertising entirely, and instead focus on our in-house community advertisers. They are the heart and soul of the fandom, and they deserve to have the eyes of our active users.

Reminder: Transgender people don't owe you any sense of "media like attractiveness". Visually, we come in all shapes, sizes, ethnicities and so much more. Some of us "pass", some don't and some don't want to. Any package we come in we aren't any less Trans and we are ALL completely valid.

Oh, final difference is that Valheim's map is procedural, while Enshrouded has a fixed map which offers less replay variety, but feels better to explore IMO (also Enshrouded has gliders, which I always end up forgetting Valheim doesn't and plummeting to my death >.>)

Construction-wise, Valheim uses predefined elements with a structural integrity system that forces buildings to make some kind of sense, while Enshrouded's voxel system is much more free, physics be damned

As a constant victim of impostor syndrome, yeah it does happen. And it sucks. But I've been learning to take a step back and look at events with a more factual (and more charitable) eye, which definitely helps. Also remember that there are people who do like you, no matter what 🫂
