I DESPERATELY want a folding iPhone, but oh boy do those uneven corners on the closed iPhone Duo drive me up the wall.

I don't know, maybe I'm just growing old and bitter, but could we maybe have a new 2D Metroid that isn't forced to be based around some sort of gimmick? Just, you know, toss Samus onto some weird new planet, have her explore it, fight monsters sometimes, and that's enough?

If any shooter fans are picking this up, and would be interested in writing a short-ish review for a Sega-related project I'm trying to finally get off the ground for absolutely zero pay, slide into my DMs!

REAL fans only read manga in bite-sized, American comic-style releases that take years to finish. 😤

A huge assortment of early North American releases of Japanese manga back when the size of releases more resembled American comics.

I fell down a fucking weird rabbit hole. Random video suggested on YT. A Japanese guy whose family moved to America talking about the differences between the two countries. Plenty of other videos out there like that. I'm half-watching while doing other work, but something starts feeling off.

✨ I've launched an archive for some old website projects—and I'm excited to announce the return of GameFan's long-lost AnimeFan Online site! Both its launch design, and the version that existed until GF's end, are up for you to check out! Relive a lost era of anime at archive.morningproject.com

Finding deals on Facebook has felt miserable lately, until today when I randomly found someone selling off his old “Saga” games for $5 each. No super bangers, and they were almost all missing manuals, but a few pick-ups I was curious about.

Everyone misunderstood my example, so let's try again. I have a new project "FAKE NAME". (I don't want to say the real name yet.) I wanted fakename.com but it's taken. I was picking between fakename.site or .online, wanted .online, but now gone fake-name.com is available. Is the dash offensive?

It's unfair that I missed the era of working at EGM when I could have been photographed and then photoshopped to look like I was lounging around on a giant console.

Oh Japan, I miss your beverage choices so much. Every day, I could pick something different and exciting. Every day, my mouth could enjoy a flavor nothing like the one it’d had the day before. And my beloved melon soda. 😩 America may be free, but our drink isles never will be.

Have a lot of unexpected thoughts about game shopping in Japan that I'll put into a blog later, but for now, Mollie's 2026 Japan Pick-ups! All prices US $1 = ¥160. First up: Issue 88 of Continue (which is now back in print) focused on Dreamcast for $11.25, and a used Apple HomePod Mini for $42.50.

ONE-HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS?! AND you can't even get proper Genesis branding on them? Get out of here with this nonsense. This adds absolutely nothing to the market but overpriced nostalgia bait. Original Sonic is $25~$30 CIB, Sonic 2 around $15. Absolutely nobody should buy this slop.

Having now mostly abandoned Xbox after going with it as my primary platform this generation, I'm thankful that the three games I most cared about—Forza Horizon 6, Hellblade 2, and State of Decay 3—are both safely on PS5. If everything else is now gone, oh well.
