Like an idiot I went to Jeff Van Drew’s congressional website for a statement on Venezuela. No posts since 12/17. Apparently you have to go to his campaign site for that and it’s just a steaming pile of party-line nonsense about the illegal invasion being to protect us from drugs. I called him again

Unless I’m mistaken, according to the NJ Family Care website, the only undocumented people eligible to receive care are minors. So Van Drew’s push to only allow benefits to “intended” people will specifically target children. He is a heartless, spineless shameless disgrace to our state and country.

It’s a shame US House members aren’t required to have in-person town halls. Just called my Rep to ask if he was going to have one, his staffer said that they will only do a virtual one, answering preselected questions allegedly submitted by constituents. No date yet set. Only 1 each year,0 in person
