🚨 New paper Alert! 🌋🛰️ We report the first signs of unrest at #Taftan Volcano (Makran Arc). Using InSAR and Common-Mode Filtering method, we detected a spontaneous 10-month summit uplift—without any external trigger—suggesting possible internal magmatic processes. DOI: doi.org/10.1029/2025...

Olympus Mons, the biggest volcano in the Solar System Olympus Mons is a shield volcano located on Mars. With of over 21 kilometres high and a base of 600 kilometres, it is the biggest volcano in the Solar System.

This incredible salt structure, with its fascinating shape, is active—can you imagine? Yes, it is! Located in central Iran, it’s part of some of the most unique and amazing salt diapirs in the world. In 2021, we were the first to reveal its activation using InSAR Salt diapirs never fail to amaze me!
