Immensely appreciated! Glad I'm having a positive effect!

Been a long and busy week, so I'm still chipping away at something a little more involved. But here's something from a paint and sip last weekend with another li'l Croak cameo.

A painting of a purple waterfall and wisteria-like trees.

Guy Bones is unbound from time and space, cursed to, essentially, speed run every "dungeon" ever made. Hopscotch probably couldn't break the curse, he would probably find a nice quiet hot spring in a dungeon to give him a break.

Took another run at this, and I think this is good for a first attempt at a painted landscape! It is unknown how the Court of Last Resort determines the cases it hears, but Malus Maleficarum moves with the Court’s will, leading to odd scenes, as below. #worldbuilding #dnd #ttrpg #oc #ocsky #art

Malus Maleficarum, the Hammer of Witches, the Court of Last Resort, hovers behind a small town.

I had a dream about the hoverrat, and now it's on the moon. Quick word on moon life: the moon was largely barren until an inland sea on the surface of Aulterr simply brought itself to the moon several epochs ago. How does the hoverrat play into this? 🤷 #worldbuilding #art

Cannibalism is generally frowned upon. Other than that, even the gods are fair game. Those who make a habit of consuming magical ingredients—be they from plants, animals, or gods—may eventually find themselves bereft of their humanity, in one form or another.

One-wheeled hybrid brooms have become more popular in recent years. They have far superior hauling capabilities while removing strain from the levitation enchantment and thus the mage. While the broom still functions without gasoline, it does so poorly. #worldbuilding #dnd #ttrpg #oc #ocsky

An immensely dumb comic that came to me while tide pooling, starring Jonboy, my 6-int undead barbarian. Explanation of the the really horrible wordplay in the Alt text, as I don't expect it to translate well, even into english. #dnd #ttrpg #oc #ocsky #comics

I will also add that one of the overarching goals of the (cowboy-themed) DnD campaign I've been running since 2022-ish is to somehow get to the moon and kill this guy for a different powerful undead (he did not explain, nor did they ask follow up questions)

The moon lich has some of the most convoluted but impactful lore in the setting. He (A) attempted to make a song his phylactery, and (B) chose the wrong song. Thus, he is on the moon, and most of a continent was turned into undead. #worldbuilding #dnd #oc #ocsky #art

Taken to the most extreme, some mages have entire PR teams to ensure you don't just know what spell they'll cast, but you already have an image of who's casting it. This makes a mage predictable, but to some the cost is worth it. #worldbuilding #dnd #ttrpg #oc #ocsky #art

While the "model mage" may use fashion defensively, if someone knows exactly what your spell is going to do before you cast it, it will hit harder. As such, a fire mage may wear bright reds, dye their hair, or show off burn scars. #worldbuilding #dnd #ttrpg #oc #ocsky #art

Back in 2020, I decided that this would be the last setting I would make to prevent myself from getting distracted. That means it's a complete kitchen sink. I still want it to be tonally consistent, though, so I recently decided that if anything is "too weird," it now goes on the moon.
