Went to the bird store and I got this wonderfully dumb seed owl.

Owl made up of seed and dried fruit for the birds and squirrels

Witch-a-Week 2: Garden Witch This witch is a little secret garden, private and hidden away but well-kept. There was a brick wall with a fountain spout in an area I used to walk in San Francisco. Transporting the feeling of that place to my art here #watercolor #art #witchaweek

Watercolor of a lion-headed fountain with a witch's hat, surrounded by plantlife

I managed to almost pass out during vestibular therapy today which to me seems like a special kind of talent to feel faint from doing barely anything. 🤣😭

The God-Herald 🌖 The daughter of two gods, Virva visits the mortal realm often and communes with mortals so her parents won't have to. Also they have seasons over there and that's kinda cool. Made with a brush pen and watercolours! 💙 #art #fantasy #demon #watercolor

Brush pen and watercolour illustration of a blue-skinned demon with short horns, wavy pale hair and white freckles. She's wearing a long green dress and is depicted with extra pairs of arms behind her, as if symbolising dance movements or prayer.

CollagePDX Inktober Day 09: Witch I do love a happy little witch doing happy little witch things. I wanted to keep this simple so I could let the negative space shine and I'm so happy with how it turned out. #art #watercolor #penandink #inktober

Ink and paint drawing of a child witch riding a broom and waving to a bird

Looooool right??? Though I am glad the OVA was something different even though it was a bit extra at times.

Lolol it must have been wild to have that as your first experience with the series!

Had to explain Make Your Day to wife. God what a terrible program.

020

I will wait for you to see it!

It's definitely fandom focused, and even then it's kind of rough at times now.

Honestly I'm taking it as an achievement today that I got blocked by a racist mansplainer because they got so upset that their sea lioning didn't work on me. Normally I don't engage, but I do hate these kind of male fans in female spaces.

The OVA is three eps, you guys should check it out 🤣

OH I FORGOT THEY MADE RAYEARTH SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY. Also Windam lives in a sports stadium.

Like Emeraude just sings the entire time in the background and Eagle Vision is her captor manwitch that decides to yeehaw all over Tokyo. Hikaru has to yell at car name instead of Rayearth because they realized naming her mashin and the combined form the same thing is maybe confusing actually.

150

You guys need to get invested in Rayearth so we can talk about how kind of batshit the OVA is.

This is why we have to stick to one Sailor. I picked the expensive one. 🙃

Mokona Appa's art style is so iconic I would actually die if they didn't go with her style for the reboot. Animation will never quite capture it, but you know~ Clamp rotates the main artist, but Mokona is definitely the most prolific in their work.

Personally I think to make it accessible (and maybe clamp saw how clear card did). Barely anyone talks about Rayearth, let alone has watched and read it, and I would love for more people to know about it. Also the reboot is the comic art style, which the original anime was also based on.

I need to get back to this game. I unfairly went into it expecting something like their previous games and I'm learning I needed to get a bit further. 🙃

000

I honestly don't know what you're trying to say in this comment. MKR isn't CLAMP's biggest property and they didn't do another series with big mechs after it.

I'm totally fine with it being shiny as fuck, but I need more animation frames!

Wendy Harmon @twotigermoon.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

It's not really a mecha series, it's a magical girl isekai with some mechs thrown in at the end.

Just finished watching the new Magic Knight Rayearth anime and it’s sooo good! Did this piece of art back in October of 2024 when they announced the remake. #anime #magicknightrayearth

A while back my entire complex was evacuated because someone left a pot cooking on the stove and LEFT for the evening. They came back while their door was being axed down and we all watched from the courtyard. 🫠

mochibuni @mochibuni.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I just need Rayearth to have more than two frames of animation for his fire hair.

I forgot that foid is a disparaging term used for women, which even more reason why that trend is bad actually.

Day 2 of #lindentober: Witch's Garden 🌹 The original is tiny, just 15x15 cm! Painted mostly with my pinks and purples palette. #art #watercolor #fantasy

A square watercolour illustration of a witch in a black gown and hat holding a basket filled with mushrooms, surrounded by a border of leaves and flowers all around. There are tiny glowing bugs floating around her.

Current reading is The Night Ends With Fire, which to summarize poorly is a loose retelling of the Ballad of Mulan with much more magic and female rage. The copy I'm borrowing from the library is also pretty~

Spouse bought the first box yesterday! A little green though 🙃
