Third live playtest with the new streamlined card draw. I was concerned not having a card market would limit player choice on dragon evolution, and i suppose it does, but the players don't see it. They draw four and keep two each round. Small choices, still lots of variation.

Tweaked the rules for our game based on yesterday's feedback and some advice from a pro designer. If you compare days, you'll notice the card market is gone. It's been replaced with a streamlined deck-to-hand mechanism that literally saved minutes per round!

This is our current project, "Here be Dragons". We're taking it to protospiel '26 July 10-12 at the Reno, NV Ragecon event (Reno Area Gaming Expo). www.ragecon.com is an amazing local event in its 11th year! If you happen to be in the area, come by and meet us!
In Here Be Dragons, 2-5 players take on the roles of classic fantasy dragons, harvesting sheep, capturing Royals, and fighting Georges.
