something that ages Greys anatomy (early seasons at least) is the fact one of the characters doesnt know another characters home phone number. god i love watching shows like this

watching Greys Anatomy and its wild to just see Katherine Heigl as a main cast member on this, then i remember it aired 20 years ago

Motorola has definitely been killing it with the designs the last few gens. the 60 and 70 ultra's with their fabrics and wood are lovely, and the new design is, in a way harking back to the droid's a bit more, that one gives me softer Droid charge, vibes

i still dont love the camera tumour, and im more of a fan of the wider bois (hence why im still using gen1 pixel fold) but at these prices and those specs, damn

person relisted this for 5 days or so, another chance to get a killer foldable for over half off.

this reminds me, i had a dream the other day where i had applied to be a new presenter on EEC, and my "try out" hosting was with Bobby on a new BYD model and i was running late. i woke up in a sweat like "oh shit im late for my job", when in fact it was 4am... on a sunday

Austin Allegro EV conversion update: Engine gone, electric motor in. Battery box fitted. Next step: install the cells, secure everything, run cabling and POWER IT UP ON 400 VOLTS. 😁 We're so close! Working on it this weekend!

in my admittedly limited californian experience, the freeways are... something. country lanes in the UK though? barely wide enough for a car, but taking bidirectional traffic. can barely see 20 meters ahead of you because of all the turns, but its a 60mph speed limit? some of the best driving fun

i'd never go back to an ICE vehicle, but i do still enjoy driving, esp around the tiny country lanes where i live. not having to deal with clutches, bite points, emissions testing etc. most retro cars i want would be insta converted to EV

Domenico Lamberti @mobiledom.eurosky.social · 21/10/2026

as far as im aware thats just a concept from a fan, smart hasnt said anything and is excluisively EV at this point, though they have teased theyre working on a revised roadseter, so i hope it comes to fruition

saw someone do the maths, on the small battery, to get the 5 and 9 minute charging times it peaks at roughly 220kw, and on the big battery it peaks at 285kw. that is BYD Flash charging on infrastructure thats already prevalent in most of the world, killer job!

never not weird to me when i remember LG owns Homey

010 1

Domenico Lamberti @mobiledom.eurosky.social · 19/10/2026

can be yeah. most EV owners rarely charge outside of the home (if they can have home charging) so its less necessary , but still no one is going to complain about faster charging, you know. if i can go to bed with 5% and wake up with 100%, does it matter if it took me 3hrs or 9, as long as its done

100 1

Domenico Lamberti @mobiledom.eurosky.social · 19/10/2026

whats important is that this is the "cheap, undesirable" chemistry doing this. not the super energy/power dense NMC,NCA,NMCA cells, this is just LFP. looking forward to see if Na-Ion can also be fast charged in similar ways

010 1

Domenico Lamberti @mobiledom.eurosky.social · 19/10/2026

this is 2.5x faster than most of the top tier cars in the west. 4x faster than most Tesla's and 5 ISH times faster than most others. this car charges 10-70 in 5 minutes, 10-97 in 9 minutes, and at -30c it's 10-97 in 12 minutes.

their scale up and scale out solutions? just ethernet. asnd not some weird fuzzy ethernet ish, just standard QSFP jacks and an ethernet stack. their cores are RISC-V based, they have open sourced one core design already. new companies can exist, lets hope even if AI pops, Tenstorrent can pivot

i've had the pleasure of meeting Jim and Co a handful of times at this point, not all of the people i knew still work there but a lot still do. whilst im a known AI skeptic/hater, Tenstorrent is at least trying to extract as much performance as possible and keeping power low, and using standards

brother, ive been single since the day before the star wars sequels came out in the UK. i know exactly why im single, i was insecure, didnt go out, was shy and didnt speak to people. everytime ive gone out i've had wonderful women speak to me andspeak to me past that interaction. it's you.

While very little of what the new UK porn bans talk about are things I'm into, I'm still uncomfortable with the idea. Consenting adults playing with fantasy with other consenting adults - that's not an area I think the law should be wandering into.
