Mutations in TRP channel TRPV3 cause severe genodermatosis called Olmsted syndrome (OS). We used cryo-EM to characterize five OS mutants, which exhibit reduced temperature sensitivity and disrupt structural elements stabilizing non-conducting states of TRPV3. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Our recent paper describes how planar lipid bilayer technique can be used for studying mitochondrial ion channel activity.We used isolated mitochondrial inner membranes to primarily measure ion conductance of channels formed by the ATP synthase and ANT. www.frontiersin.org/journals/phy...
