So this is rather neat: you can tame and collect all sorts of beasts in the world for a pet. They will either just follow you as your pet or you can use them as a mount too, apparently 🤔 #AION2

There is that as well, yes. As with all things, people only start to care when the effects start hitting close to home. They gotta see their own works copied first or lose their jobs....ofc these things are just the beginning of a much bigger avalanche. We have much more to lose than that.

Take my buddy for example: she has never had any skill in art. The past few weeks she has put together two comics with AI (both for text and imagery) - both already up on Amazon. This is far removed from any type of art skill but it's entrepreneurship, I guess. It's purely about the product.

I think the big difference is exactly that: is the process the point or is it about the end product? in capitalism everything is transactional and AI is like the end stage of the mindset. Also not dissimilar to our age old discussion between journey vs. reward in gaming.
