I can say with certainty that the main reason I wish I was born earlier than I was is the simple fact that I never got to be in the presence or even have a chat with Carl Sagan. His warm presence is just a blanket of hope and optimism.

Andor made me fall in love with Star Wars again after being soured through much of the Disney era. It IS that good.

It's funny. Certain tastes of mine shift around so sometimes my favorite video game can go from Dishonored to Doom Eternal to Alan Wake 2 all depending on my mood. However my favorite movie hasn't changed even slightly since May 15th 2015. It's Mad Max: Fury Road and it will stay that way forever.

I've come to the conclusion that Alan Wake 2 is in my top 5 games at this point, if not my #1. It's just unlike anything else and a game that quite literally nobody but @remedygames.com and @samlakewrites.bsky.social could make. It made me start learning Finnish for fucks sake.

Courtney Hope’s portrayal of Jesse Faden in Control. @remedygames.com wrote one hell of a badass woman and Courtney gave us a great character.

Watched Carnival of Souls (1962) It was pitched online as “If an episode of The Twilight Zone was directed By David Lynch” Well Twilight Zone is my favorite show of all time so this was an easy pick for me. Loved it! Atmosphere was amazing.

Tonight is a tough one. A few hours ago I said goodbye to my best bud of 20 years who’s been around the longest and has been here through my lowest moments. He passed peacefully into his forever sleep with help from our local vet. I’ll miss you for the rest of my life forever. I love you Julius.

Abracadabra made me nostalgic for Poker Face and Just Dance. I was a 14 year old metalhead in 2009. How the fuck does she do that. Magic or something.

It’s funny because I still remember old Tumblr friends, old discord friends and even just random mutuals I had on MySpace. I remember very random people who entered and left my life wondering how they’re doing.

Thinking about it now, The Plinkett Phantom Menace review is incredibly important to internet culture and how we approach reviewing media on the internet. Dropping a 70 minute in depth review on a single movie was just unheard of.

Prince was good but let’s get one thing straight. There has always been and will always be terrible music. The only reason so much terrible music is visible today is that everyone has a way to make it and a way to platform it. There is equally as much good as there is bad, if not more. Sick of this.
