Even though I spent the whole morning inside, I did get outside on this gorgeous October day. 2 hours of mowing. Then 1.5 hours taking the dogs on a 1 mile loop through the fields. Although they went 2.5 miles. 😂

Used my favorite chicken cutlets with apples recipe and used wild turkey instead. Cut up wild turkey breast and pounded the meat into cutlets. No pretty pictures of this turkey as it landed in the flooded field when I shot. Used wild apples from the farm too. #eatwild #wildfood

I think it's been 5 days since I last had the beagles out for a run and they were getting antsy. It took some effort to find a rabbit but I'm trying to run them in areas that don't interfere with people who might be deer hunting. #BeagleMusic

Worked in town for 4 hours this morning and then came home and worked a solid 4 hours on the farm chainsawing and moving falling trees away from areas getting brush hogged. What a productive day! Leftover pizza and a Cayman Jack margarita flavor for dinner! 😁

Tuesday afternoon fun. The guy is working the brush hog. I am once again manning the chainsaw. Stupid Mother Nature blowing over trees that are dead and probably needed to fall over anyways. 😂😂

A lot of the internet sucks. BUT sometimes the internet is SO WONDERFUL! I've had my truck 3 years and was never able to get Maps to work with Android Auto but I stumbled upon a YouTube video tonight that fixed the problem. AND @MapQuest.com also works now which is even BETTER! 😎

The dogs and I have been wandering around for 45 minutes and still no rabbit. There is endless habitat so it's not surprising. We just have to stumble on the right spot. I've taken to taking pictures of bees while they sniff around. 😂

Wow! The Browns won. Whaddya know. Time to get the hounds some exercise. It's warm and dry which isn't ideal for tracking but at least they will get to stretch their legs.

A huge weight has been lifted. We have tractor paths that run from our pond area to the woods. We keep them maintained. 3 rounds of storm damage March-July. It overwhelmed my ability to clear down trees. I finally got help. 3 of us worked 4 hours. Chainsaws. Tractor. Done! 😍

Catching my breath. Sauteed onions and garlic. Then the mushrooms. Now the broth, potatoes, carrots and seasonings have been added. I can relax a little while while this all simmers.

Beautiful morning for running rabbits. No good video of the beagles because while they were following rabbit tracks, I was 1. Changing trail cam cards and 2. Picking a few things in the garden. They did end up on the neighbor's though which led to me chatting for a while. 😂
