Delighted to share our new paper, just published in Environmental Research Letters, on the air quality (AQ) impacts of prescribed moorland burning. We combined burn area estimates, fire hotspot data, and meteorological records to estimate emissions, then a AQ model to simulate population exposure.

Good news: Microcarb has successfully launched! 👏 Europe’s first carbon-monitoring satellite is now in orbit, marking a major step in tracking CO₂ emissions from space. Find out more about our role in the mission & how it will lay the foundation for the Copernicus CO2M constellation: bit.ly/4oeyKxa
