My husband broke one of my toddler’s crayons five months ago and she has not missed an opportunity to remind him of it. The other day she found a broken crayon at the pediatrician’s office and asked me “did Papa breaked this crayon?”

One thing they don’t tell you about having multiple miscarriages is that the anxiety in subsequent pregnancies doesn’t necessarily go away after the baby is born. My second daughter is 11 weeks old and I am still having nightmares about pregnancy complications.

There are MANY valid reasons for why a homeless person would reject a shelter offer: - they may have to discard their belongings - they may not be able to take a pet - it may be a congregate shelter which can be loud and uncomfortable - they may have had a previous bad experience with that shelter

It’s wild that within one day I went from being right-eye dominant with amblyopia in my left eye to now being left-eye dominant and struggling with my right eye. And my left eye hasn’t even healed yet.

I asked my ophthalmologist if he knew how to swap out the lenses in my glasses and he said he didn’t know how to pop out eyeglass lenses but he could easily pop out my eyeball… which is making me kind of anxious about what tomorrow’s eye surgery involves except I don’t think I actually want to know

It depends on who you ask but most of the Jews I know find that to be appropriation and incredibly offensive. I think if you wanted to do something like this maybe putting up some blue and white lights along with your regular Xmas lights would be more appropriate.
