At least, I got one piece mounted - "Innocence Caged"! I mount my pieces on wood boards. Usually, I also frame them but for this, the rougher look matches the rough conditions those kids are forced into. #Art #PoliticalArt #FiberArt #WomenArtists

What do I do when I'm not protecting your privacy, reading about social justice issues, lecturing on smashing systems of inequity, and needlefelting? I garden and wear ugly hats like any respectable Southern woman.

Have you read this? It's the original manual on psychological manipulation - by Freud's nephew. Relatives, right? 😏 To understand propaganda, Propaganda is a good place to start.

The only people to ever ban Christmas in the U.S. were... drumroll... Christians!

Text of 1659 statute passed by Puritans outlawing the observance of Christmas.

120 followers. My peeps. My compatriots. I don't know what to say. I'm all teary-eyed. This never would have happened in the Bad Place. I thank you from the bottom of my bleeding liberal heart. Thank you. Want to see more art? Working on it! In the meantime, a reminder why we do this...

Can we just be in awe of technology for a sec? Bought this book 30+ yrs ago at a #FriendsoftheLibrary sale in Chesterfield, VA, not knowing Russian but fascinated as to what it could be. Found it again cataloging all my books today - #GoogleTranslate just solved the mystery in seconds. Not crying. 🥹
