A thing I recently learned: taking protein powder can mess up your estradiol tests. With same dose (EV injected) 2 days off protein powder was 130 pg/ml higher than that dose but >7 days no protein powder. When I had protein powder morning of, diff was around 200 pg/ml.

Tested is one of my favorite podcasts. Excellent reporting, well-told stories illustrating the conflict between the binary beliefs that have shaped the sporting world and the continuum of reality that are humans. Tho not a story about transfolk, it's issues are adjacent, and the fight is the same.

A short 3 months on HRT I joined a roller derby league. The governing body WFTDA stipulates that trans women are welcome. I asked their recruiter if I could attend and she said I certainly could. First practice was scary.

started hrt 5 months ago at 40. it's been the best decision i've made: more emotions, desire to care for my body, able to pursue things that bring happiness, unblocked executive functioning, pleasing physical changes. concur with others saying to try it and see what happens!
