Honestly, Walt Disney had the right idea when it came to the artistic process. Once one is done, move onto the next. Don't look back unless it is to receive thanks. No sequels, no remakes. Remaster if you must, but the new project takes priority.

Well... It's done. I decided to post all of my comic and all of my book on Tapas all at once before it closes as a farewell gift. It makes me sad, but my fans are worth it and Tapas was good to me. I wish I could have put ALL my work there, but alas, I only have so much time.

It pains me to have learned that Tapas is not long for this world and it's shame because it was one of the best webcomic communities. I have ever been on. It was kind, diverse, fun and I got a chance to meet a lot of great creators, but alas, all good things come to end.

Romance is beautiful and can make a for great story when you see the pair's journey towards finding their happily ever after, but not every single story needs it and not every character needs to be paired romantically with someone. Like MLP said, friendship is magic and sometimes, it's all you need.

Please remember that while it is great to be inclusive and to represent, your story is yours first and your objective is to tell a story. And it's also for that story to not be a vehicle for any kind of thing that's going in the real world right now. It's ok for your story to be an escape.

Excuse me, but please don't blame hobbies for a person's level of maturity. Hobbies do not reflect a person's character or sense of responsibility. Immaturity and the refusal to grow up are learned behavior not a side effect from liking Batman, Disney, Looney Toons, Transformers, Star Wars, etc.

No matter how good your book, quote, restaurant, product, coffee, message, cause, etc. are.... the instant you put a generated AI image on it, it's ruined and it offputs customers. And yes, we can STILL tell it is genAI.

Dear writers who use AI to create because they just don't have the skills to draw one and cannot afford to commission an artist to do it for them... Just make a cover with the title only and a plain background. Trust me, a plain cover with a title only will get you more reader than an AI image.
