I got asked a few months ago how a certain church could become more inclusive. I mentioned text font, size & background on slides, sound issues, neurodiversity, choice of words & phrases … they still don’t get it

My dad’s been telling me about his great aunt Ella tonight - showed me the documentation that proved Ella was short for Cinderella. Apparently her Prince Charming was a bank manager.

Loving this, seeing @sachacoward.bsky.social represented at Guildford Library and hearing about how much the team loved having him at the library recently

That unexpected pleasure when the coffee & pee stop turns out to also be a brush museum. 😀 The Brush and Broom on the A303 is gorgeous though I’m having to resist buying the beautiful goat hair round brush - can you ever have enough conservation brushes 🤔?

Auditing the collection takes a long time ... especially when we have a drawers and boxes full of artwork and advertising to go through that capture our imagination. This photo does not do justice to the detail, creativity and skill that the Ovaltine artists of Kings Langley poured into their work.

black and white illustration of a man in hat and coat posting a letter with a street scene in front of him. The c. 1940s bus has an advertisement for Ovaltine on the side.

It’s world compassion day - it’s easy for us to be compassionate to others. It’s harder to be compassionate to ourselves. Remember that you deserve kindness too.
