@mrjamesob.bsky.social the child calling out for asylum seekers to drown is at risk from the adults radicalising them. They could also get hurt in protests .It should be referred immediately to social care child protection as there is significant risk of emotional and physical harm.

Trumpocchio is the story of a little boy made of insincerity.Every time he tells a lie,he turns orange and his wig slips. He wants to be a real President. He likes to name stuff wrongly, building shit that doesn't work and making friends with bad guys.He ends up being swallowed whole by a giant bear.

@avfc.ca I don't care if Spurs are a big 6 team or not.I have always taken that term to mean finishing in the top 6.Good,bad.mediocre or annoying, first or 20th, they will always be my team.I am lucky and unlucky enough to be so old that I have experienced us being really good and really bad. #COYS

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Mange is a terrible parasite that causes the painful death of many foxes each year. This mite latches itself to the fox and it gradually feeds off it,making it itch terribly ,lose body weight and the fur falls off. They aren't a dirty animal .

@mrjamesob.bsky.socialA friend had a fox come into their garden. They tried to feed it as it was thin.I asked them to send pictures;it was clear the fox was suffering with mange.Local wildlife rescue were called and rescued it.Weeks later it recovered and was returned to the garden.Still visits.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social foxes don't kill for fun.If prey is available, they will kill it ...known as surplus killing Their intention is to usually return and cache/bury the food. They will often eat the head of chickens etc first

@mrjamesob.bsky.social I can't see how High Streets can return to what they were. However, they can do something about the empty shops.Turn them into flats and stop building on Greenfield sites .

@mrjamesob.bsky.social .The whole school system needs an urgent review. We need to prepare young people to live in the world we are in now and improve it.We also need to regard more and pay accordingly jobs that are important in our society..... nurses, carers, education staff, builders, plumbers etc

Little egret hunting close up.I sat in a hide for about two hours taking hundreds of pictures.About seven were any good.White feathers, with just a hint of yellows and oranges contrasts with the dark spear of a bill and the grey blue background of the water.Avocet swimming. It had been sifting around in muddy water to get food and suddenly just seemed to want to head for deeper water.Only 3 main colours in photo, white, black and grey. The upwards curve of the bill and the beautiful plumage marking take centre stage. It was swimming quite fast but picture looks calm as if it is just bobbing around on the surface. In fact it was heading to have an argument with some gulls too near to the Avocet nest.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social I hadn't watched this world cup until last night.Disgust that it was held in Trumpland was strong motivation not to.After listening to your show,I decided to give it a go.England tried hard, but Arg better at creating chances and killing the game as a spectacle.Byebye extra BH!

@cnn.com just watching Scott Jennings and little miss Sunshine pretending to talk to Democrats on the 'shouting at each other show'.All they do is disagree, say bizarre nonsense and smirk annoyingly. If there are any future space missions, can they be whooshed up in a rocket for a few months, please?

@mrjamesob.bsky.social can you possibly explain why Trump and his minions are being allowed to use the World cup as an opportunity to discriminate against players, officials and spectators even before matches start ?I have watched world cups from 1966 onwards.I will not be watching this disgrace.

Point against a decent team, fair enough.DeZerbi has made a huge difference, but isn't a miracle worker. We don't play with confidence at home.Whatever happens, recruitment and fitness need to improve or we will keep struggling. #COYS

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Really depressing election results. It doesn't seem to matter what rules Reform/Farage break ,what lies they spout or the general shambolic performance of their politicians.I am really ashamed to be English.I can only take comfort from the fact that I am not American.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social I enjoyed the discussion about birding/twitching last week.Being able to see and share moments of beauty and wildness is relaxing and exhilarating, helping me remain calm and to have moments of joy.I have learnt about threats to the natural world and why we need to protect it.
Aircraft coming into land, geese waiting for their turn at sunset to do the same.I took this from the edge of Burton Mere RSPB where I had been watching marsh harriers, waders and woodpeckers.
I like this photo as it shows the beauty and colour of the evening sky,our magnificent sunset and the fragility of nature. It is slightly menacing as the pylons, cables and aircraft in the back and middle ground seem to pose a potential threat to nature Great Egret hunting at Burton Mere RSPB.Backdrop of tall reeds.Egret waiting patiently for a fish to swim by .Kestrel hovering above marshland in the Dee Estuary, Cheshire.Kestrel surrounded by beautiful blue sky with some faint smoky clouds in the distance.Large female Sparrowhawk eating a wood pigeon she had ambushed in my back garden. She is perched on a fence which is covered in ivy. This bird specialised in catching pigeons and the occasional Starling. She stayed nearby for three months.Lots of small birds around, but she was big enough to successfully catch larger prey One of my favourite birds, but not surpassing Goshawk.Lucky enough to see several of these amazing but persecuted birds in Wales this year.Credit to the landowners there who have resisted the urge to shoot, trap and poison them .

@mrjamesob.bsky.social I am autistic and find birds very relaxing and fascinating .My son and grandsons also enjoy watching birds. We don't care if they are rare.My favourite bird to watch is a Goshawk.I am lucky to live next to Dee estuary where thousands of geese migrate each winter.Amazing sight.

Spare a thought today for a confused old man in Washington. He is currently shocked that ,following his weird regime change failure/murderous attack on Iran, the changed regime want revenge. He has a lot on his 'mind' as all of his other money making/despotic schemes across the world aren't going well.

There will be screaming from O'Hara etc to sack the manager, appoint Redknapp/Hoddle/Dyche etc.The mess left to clear up after the last several years needs more than a few games to sort out Awful decision making, dodgy recruitment and injury list to trouble even Bill Nicholson are huge problems #COYS

If this flaming clown car of a team can't achieve anything else, they might convince the current idiot owners to sell up and sod off.Bringing in a manager with no experience of this league was a desperate gamble.Might have been better to buy new players and not loan out so many young players #COYS

@mrjamesob.bsky.social I agree with you.Starmer has been reasonable, measured and acted like a real Prime Minister while being harangued in a temper tantrum from the big Orange baby.About time, but keep going and don't undo the good work with some grovelling.Trump is disgusting and should be in jail.

Strategy seems to rely on other teams losing too, like last season. It isn't as if the Board haven't been warned where we were heading.Too many injuries,no urgency or structure.Too many corners cut. If we are serious about competing, leadership, recruitment and salaries must improve #COYS

Stand up for our wild places!
The Prime Minister is backing proposals to weaken protections for our most important wild places by expanding the Fingleton Review’s recommendations. Help stop the rollback before it starts.

Who would have predicted that our calm captain would be sent off after criticising the people who can grant him his wish to be sold. He is a really good player but a liability at times. Expect him to be replaced by a promising 15 year old or James Milner in the summer spending 'spree' #COYS

@mrjamesob.bsky.social I really think Starmer should go.He should have known more about anyone he appoints to a key role.If he knew about any links to Epstein(it appears that he did),it was high risk and bad judgement. He should also take responsibility.I am a Labour voter and not a Corbyn supporter.

@skysportspl2.bsky.social nice to see, according to Paul Merson ,that Everton are playing that great composer,Tchaikovsky,in their defence. Strauss,Beethoven and Rachmaninoff will hopefully be on the bench . If Merson has to be employed,he can't manage names that require a bit of study and prep.

@drtottenham.bsky.social in addition to Spurs having to learn from how some teams have been successful,we need to remember one thing. For years we were making real progress under Poch and finishing above some rivals. We needed to support the manager, like Arsenal have, even through difficult periods.
