Pete and Smitty have themselves a tussle! (Pardon the loud hum in the background - we had a fan in the window during some momentary cool weather.)

Three of the five! Far: Charlie. Middle: Smitty. Near: Khal. (Smitty is no longer hissing at his big brothers, so that's progress.)

⏪ THE DAILY REWIND⏪ From 2019, Margeaux letting her own kitten (Beauregard, right) nurse, alongside Francois, who was possibly her grandson. It's a long story, just rest assured that everyone survived the experience!

Pete, Smitty and Magoo take a little mid-day nap on their favorite cat tree.

Smitty and Pete like to hang out in this little cat tree and keep me company while I'm eating breakfast.

Magoo says "So many boxes, so little time!"

⏪THE DAILY REWIND⏪ In April of 2021 we were fostering Canasta and her kittens (the Cardsharks). One evening during feeding time Fred started whistling, and a moment later I closed a drawer. This started a Category Six Kittenado that scattered to all the corners of the room.

🎉 Former fosters! Ezzie (Esmeralda, 2025; orange & white) is warming up to her siblings, and Becky caught her taking a nap with Frannie (Francesca, 2023; black). Also included: Reggie (Luc, 2019; gray tabby) and Nacho (Ignacia, 2023 - black and white tuxie). ❤️

My assistant (Pete) is taking a break... AGAIN. And he's not sorry.

Just like his mama, Smitty likes to play fetch!

Pete, Smitty and Magoo on the cat tree, pretty sure it's Churu time. (Look at Smitty looking at Magoo - a little bit of hero worship going on there, I think.)

Vittles: How I crate 15 kittens - and then set them free

⏪THE DAILY REWIND In 2020 - we had a litter of FIFTEEN kittens and THEY. HAD. RINGWORM. I crated them while I mopped every single day. Someone wanted to know how I got them all in the crate, so I made this video. (I release them at the end.) youtu.be/K6xXNgRdfFg

We had a stranger in the house the other day, which made Pete and Smitty nervous, so they went to their safe space!

Smitty has some FABULOUS ear floof, doesn't he?

Pete's got the used-to-be-a-dryer-ball-now-a-cat-toy, and it looks like he's also got the Milo & Natalie rainbow sparkle of approval.

While we are foster-free for the next few weeks, how about a new daily feature I'll call ⏪ THE DAILY REWIND wherein I share an old picture or video or blog post or whatever strikes my fancy? Sound good? Good! A missive from Mister Boogers: www.love-and-hisses.com/10-4-06

Charlie keeps an eye on his new brothers from the landing. He hasn't formed an opinion about them yet, but I'm sure he'll love them....Eventually!

0453

Magoo's all "Mom. Seriously. That's MY box!" and Smitty's all "No, I think you're wrong. Pretty sure it's mine!" (There is another box of paper five feet away, but clearly it's not the GOOD box.)
