Daphne and the hummingbird. I swear that hummingbird was flirting with her!

Pete's tail is taking on a life of its own.

Mama says "No milk bar for you!" I'm glad to know that when she wants to get up and walk away from the kittens when she's decided nursing is done, she can. I've never heard her growl at them before!

Daphne says "GIMME that camera!!

I'm sharing this pic of Pandora so I can share the update - she's doing great! Her mom reports that Pandora sleeps with her every night and she and her new kitty sister (RC) aren't friends yet, but it's early. Her new name will probably be "Moon Pie", which I think is ADORABLE.

🎉Former fosters Nigella (formerly Tortellini) Basil (Wonton) and Ash (Pierogi), then - June 4th - and now! Is it just me, or ... are the ears getting bigger? I think they are! (Thanks, Brittany & Tabatha!)

0465

🎉 Former fosters! Sweet snuggly brothers Jethro Tull (tuxie; fostered in 2014) and TC (aka Thunderclap Newman) are still BFFs. How sweet are they! (Thanks, Marc!)

0343

It's Churu time, and Calliope is NOT pleased to have to share with Churu sharks Pete and Smitty.

0524

Daphne is such a sweet little purrbaby. 😻

0373

Last week Kristin and her family said goodbye to former foster Periwinkle (Bert Macklin, 2016). He was the sweetest boy, and I know that his family - including his brother Patches (Art Vandelay) - will miss him so much. (Thank you for loving him and for sharing these pics, Kristin.) ❤️ 🌈

Daphne's leaping up after the feather teaser, and Pete, Smitty and Calliope are all very impressed!

Good night innernets. (Calliope)

0453

Calliope and Daphne have a snuggle. (Or, more likely, Calliope was having a snooze and Daphne said "Oh, there's plenty of room for me!" and climbed in.)

0492

Pete's having a Rumdangle in the sun.

2574

My view first thing this morning. Calliope's milk has completely dried up. Does the lack of milk stop the kittens from comfort nursing? Nope! They want to do it, and she actually called them TO do it, so whatever floats your boat, kids. (They turned 3 months old on the 14th.)

1413

🎉 Former foster Cassandra has settled in nicely to her new home! Sarah says: "Everything is wonderful! Here is her and my Siamese. They love to play with each other every morning. I work from home and Cassandra lays on my desk while I work. We love her!!" ❤️ (Thanks, Sarah!)

0485

It's laundry day, and my helpers are ready to help! Well, Daphne and Pete are, anyway. I'm not sure where Smitty has gotten to.

0373

Pete's watching his big brothers stomp around the back yard and wishing he could join them. (Eventually he will, but he and Smitty are too small yet.)(We have a cat fence around our back yard - search "Purrfect Fence." Permanent residents are allowed out there during the day.)

0433

🎉 Former fosters Maverick (formerly Tango) and Carmelita (Sashay) recently turned 1, and this is what they (along with their big brother Ezra) look like now! (Maverick is the classic tabby with the swirls) Mike reports that they're doing great & love Ezra. ❤️ (Thanks, Mike!)

1476

Smitty's tail has gotten SO LONG all of a sudden!

0344

Tossing toys for the kittens (and Calliope). Daphne shows off her jumping skills. The girl can get some height!

0313

Calliope's working the Donut Shack alone again, but that's okay - apparently all the customers are sleeping in.

0372

Looks like Daphne really means those hugs and kisses, doesn't it? (Yes, I put that toy on her and I'm not sorry.)

0433

Good night, innernets. (Smitty, Daphne and Pete)

0342

It's nap time for Daphne on her favorite blankie. ❤️

0342

Yesterday was Calliope's last day in her nighty/onesie and Pete said "I'm gonna be first in line when the milk bar opens again! Even if there's no milk, I like the ambiance. It's where all the cool kids hang out." (PS: Pete/Calliope/nighty pie! My favorite!)

2484

Daphne was really the only one interested in playing hard, but I got some attention from the boys and mama Calliope.

0261

I meant to share this pic yesterday and forgot - here's Pandora her first night at home, already snuggled up and purring. ❤️ (Thanks, Jayla!)

0584

All-purpose Pete & Smitty! (One day that box on the left is going to be just a scrap of cardboard. I'm not sure why that one is tastier than the one on the right!)

0424

Good night innernets. (Pete/Zephyr & Smitty/Zeus)
