Absolutely beautiful artwork gifted to me by @miratigersnep.bsky.social I really love it. Thank you so much.

At BLFC a friend of mine gave me an absolutely awesome gift -- at least for a person like me -- YMMV. A Apple Macintosh SE FDHD manufactured between 03 Nov 1989 and 13 Nov 1989. Even more so, it was in spectacular condition as it had been in their closet for years. Pardon the office mess.

Always weird to fins Kojima out of his tree.

Well, Fire Emblem 2003 GBA (FE7 The Blazing Blade) project that I have been working on for more than half a year is now complete. Was it worth it? I think so.

Did you ever think about it? Every single day, somewhere on Earth, someone is looking up at the stars and deciding to become an astronomer, an engineer, or an astronaut. The dream of space never stops, and to me that is about as awesome as it gets.

I am still having a bit of a time processing that in the past month I have been to Japan Tokyo/Narita airport twice, Northern Vietnam, Southern Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand... And on top of that, my wife took me to see Cyndi Lauper in concert in Portland two nights ago. It has been a great month

Last night my wife @kaceyfish.bsky.social and I had the pleasure of attending Green Day in concert where they played the entirety of both Dookie and American Idiot. The concert also included Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Linda’s. This is another Achievement Unlocked moment in my life.

As of about 5PM PST I have now known my wife for 27 years. I was 27 years old when I met her and though I am fudging the math a little I am going to call this as knowing her for half of my life. This is very special to me as she has been and is my best friend, companion, and wife,

Another Noriko Trivia: Did you know that Joan Jett's "I Love Rock 'n Roll" was the first song Noriko heard that would have been classified as "hard" back when she was still young? It was played in a Physical Education class she was involved in. This has been Another Noriko Trivia.

First game I have played 'for myself' in nearly four months. I just completed the story of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I have very mixed feelings about it. I have enjoyed the ride through the trilogy, but this felt more hand-holdy than the other two did. Best I can say about it? "It made me feel."

Looking at a bunch of titles in a row and I think I just realized that I do not really consider very many games out there to have anything more than passable soundtracks. Beginning to wonder if there are actually any out there that really are very good at all. . .

Okay, I consider myself intelligent. Most people--except my biological family--do too. But sometimes I wonder. It was only recently I realized it was not: "Tales of daring, do-bad, and good luck tales." But was actually, "Tales of derring-do, bad, and good luck tales." See?

The beginning of the Kim Possible 2005 So The Drama film was really hard for me to accept. When did they get those gadgets? And no Wade did not make them. And when did Shego learn to fly a jet fighter? Serious disbelief without suspension going on here.

Sometimes discussions with my wife are really nothing more than one of us explaining something super niche and completely obscure about art or computers to the other that has absolutely no actual bearing on anything else in our lives. Basically: "Something, something, bootstraps."

In 1989 I was on a transport from here to there. Before boarding, I had picked up this book at the BX, and I read about 80% of it and stowed it in my gear. Afterward, later that night, said book was no longer in my gear and for 35 years I have hunted for a replacement. Today I have found it.

Picture of the cover of the book Out Of This World Volume #1: Max On Earth by Marilyn Kaye. On it is an image of a young blonde girl in solid black clothing in the foreground surrounded by a cone of light on an American style football field. In the far background are some football players and cheerleaders looking on. The cover sting text reads, "Randi was an average teenager--UNTIL AN ALIEN BEAMED INTO HER LIFE!"

In my opinion the most annoying thing about Warcraft II is that the victory conditions often lie. For example in 'Attack on Zul'dare' the victory condition is: "Destroy the Orc Base." But the actual victory condition is: "Hunt down and exterminate every Orc unit." It should just be honest up front

Space Ace on Sega CD is just as annoying as Dragon's Lair was. You would think because I mastered the LaserDisc version, it would be easy, but no--they changed the timing. Also, the visuals and sound are so bad, it distracts too much. Still-done. If you must play, learn how to use Daphne instead.

After a lot of work: Dracula Unleashed on Sega CD completed with the ending where Van Helsing says, "Well, we all survived." I was unable to complete this game back in 1996 when I first tried--too much vodka was clogging my brain--and I have finally finished it with the 'True End.'
