How does a biblical view turn into being against/not for trans people though?
I'm not a Christian myself but I do retain a lot of the values from it - my view is that whatever greater being there is, be it God or something else - created trans people to give them a path of self-discovery, and hardships to overcome
Sam: Basically it comes down to the way that God wants things to be
And anything that goes against that is something I will at least passively disagree with
I don't think that means actively trying to tell people who don't even claim to be christian to conform to those values tho, that doesn't make sense

Sam: More recently they've even started to become banned in some countries due to new scientific findings

I think we don't know that yet due to limited research
Akuma: If nothing else, it has a lot less permanent affects than going through puberty that doesn't align with your gender, or choosing to go through a different one and then regretting it later
And there are way more reports that they have no lasting effects, than anything suggesting that they might have any significant ones
Sam: What do you think about them being recently banned in the UK?
Do you think that was a biased decision based on views similar to mine, or perhaps more hateful in origin?
Akuma: I believe it's a mix of many things, and more complicated than 1 simple reason
The reason they cited was "not enough evidence"
Which to me reads as choosing to ignore the evidence that's out there considering they were made in the 80s
But without any more info from the people that made the decisions, its hard to say for sure
