The last human ghost bears alone the burden of a world that no longer exists. Millions of years have passed, the ocean has washed away our unfulfilled promises, and a new civilization has inherited the Earth. But something has survived the passage of time: the ability to care for one another.

A personal illustration intended as emotional support for myself, depicting my OCs, Roberto the great hammerhead shark and the "human spirit," a still mysterious presence.

The scene shows Roberto sitting on a large pillow somewhere in his house, near the window at night, with the human spirit radiating and nestled against his chest. Both seem happy and sleepy. Meanwhile, ghosts of extinct fish species from the Anthropocene era hover ethereally around them.

Around them are several potted plants with a watering can and a portable record player beside them, probably playing some calm, nocturnal music. There are some records on the floor; the most prominent one has a cover with three pyramids, with a star shining at the tip of one of them, radiating a rainbow that forms the album title "Prisma."

'You'll choke too' - an aerial embroidery landscape inspired by all the wildfires happening right now... I'm upset every time I smell smoke outside and somehow we have people starting them maliciously too! But we all breathe the same air so they'll choke too (1/2 - see thread for close-ups)

An embroidery hoop containing a sewn landscape from above. It shows a forest on the right, a line of fire and charred ground with smoke on the left. The smoke is felted wool.

Bumble sharks 🐝🦈

A collection of small illustrations of the bumblebee-shark hybrid Humlehaj. She has a yellow body with thick, brown stripes, her shark body very very fluffy! She has two antennae on her head, and a pair of delicate bee wings on her back. She has six fins, all of which are brown. She is depicted on these illustrations as a carefree, happy lass, enjoying flowers, lots of honey and hanging out with her bee besties. Such a sweetheart!

Snail sharks 🐌🦈 shnails, snarks...?! #art

A collection of illustrations featuring a shark-snail hybrid against a green, wavy background. The shark featured is an epaulette shark with a sea shell on their back, yellow in colour with a cream belly. They have round circles on the sides of their body, and little snail tentacles on the top of their head. They are shown enjoying a variety of veggies, hiding in their shell, and playing with smaller snails. Epaulette sharks can crawl around on land, and that is exactly what this wee friend loves to do while leaving a telltale trail behind!

A sunny day at Restinga beach 🌺🌴✨ Time to hydrate with sweet popsicles! #shark

An illustration depicting my sharkfolk OCs Roberto and Tiago resting in a beach square on a sunny day.

Roberto, a great hammerhead shark with pink skin, is wearing sportswear, a white shirt with a retro print, blue shorts, and athletic shoes, offering a colorful spiral-shaped popsicle to his friend Tiago, a tiger shark with bluish-lilac skin who is also wearing sportswear, but in his case, a red shirt with a sun-like print, blue shorts, cap and shoes. He is cheerful and surprised by his friend's offering. Next to him are a water bottle and a skateboard.

They are resting under the shade of a large tree, where there are benches and planters typical of a coastal area called "Praia da Restinga" (Restinga Beach), named for the various coastal flowers growing in the sand. Sunlight streams through the tree, creating an opalescent effect of light and color. Beside them are a lamppost and a pair of palm trees nearby.

In the background, the skyline of downtown of Tidebay city can be seen, with its characteristic pastel-colored buildings. The clouds in the sky appear to form waves.

Urban Sharks 🏙️🦈✨ A clear blue sky and just another typical day in the life of the sharkfolk in downtown Tidebay! #shark #art

An illustration depicting an urban scene by my sharkfolk in downtown Tidebay.

The illustration was created by drawing over 3D models of the city in a chosen scene that shows some buildings in a perspective angle viewed from below.

There are several sharkfolk walking around the scene following their daily routines. From left to right, there's a whale shark wearing a striped shirt and a scarf around its neck; a common reef shark holding a book or folder while wearing a peplum top with puffed sleeves; a hammerhead shark carrying a bag and talking to someone on a flip phone while wearing a formal long-sleeved shirt with a floral print, a belt, and a large jewelry necklace; a copper shark holding folders or books while waving to another friend next to a nurse shark, both wearing casual clothes; and finally, another reef shark waving back to its approaching friend, wearing an off-the-shoulder puffed-sleeved top with a zigzag pattern along with a cropped top and bracelets with large jewelry.

Each building has its own unique shape and personality, with an architecture reminiscent of a mixture of styles such as Art Deco and Googie, in pastel colors of pink, blue and yellow and shades of white and cyan: The most prominent buildings are: A circular building with yellow tiles and a rooftop garden. A cylindrical building with blue tiles, a crown-like structure at the top, a straight structure shaped like a dorsal fin, and right in the center, a large clock tower with pink tiles and shapes reminiscent of splashes of water. There is plenty of tropical vegetation, large trees, palm trees, and gardens scattered throughout the scene or on the rooftops of the buildings; there are two spherical lampposts. Some seagulls are flying between the buildings. A passenger plane crosses the open, cloudless blue sky.

Our three shark buddies love hanging out at Fintastic Snacks! 🥪🍤🍨🦈 What do you think they're talking about?

An illustration of my three sharkfolk OCs, Roberto, Tiago, and Aria, interacting while eating at a diner.

The scene shows the three sitting at a table in a diner called "Fintastic Snacks." Roberto, the great hammerhead shark, is sitting next to Aria, holding a drink while listening attentively to what Tiago is saying. Aria, the zebra shark, beside him, is also just observing curiously, while holding a dessert spoon. Tiago, the tiger shark, is sitting on the other side of the table, saying something that sparks the interest of his friends, while holding a breaded fried fish. Next to him is a whale shark-shaped bag.

On the table, there are two triangular salmon sandwiches, a portion of breaded fried fish, and what appears to be a blue ice cream with crunchy sprinkles.

Around them are plant pots, a sign with the diner's mascot, a small smiling blacktip reef shark wearing a chef's hat, holding a tray of snacks. There's also a gacha machine.

A 3D render of various characters from The Amazing Digital Circus against a blue/pink sunset.

A gate and bridge has been created connecting the Candy Canyon Kingdom to the circus. Kinger and Queenie are applying the finishing touches of the archway, adding the final peppermint decoration. Gangle is guiding Princess Loolilalu, and Zooble is being carried away by various colorful mannequin NPCs, all while Caine is leisurely watching this go down. The moon smiles at Caine, and... there seems to be some familiar figures seen in the back of the crowd...

And finally, under the teapot clouds, we find the gummy bandits Chad and Max playing patty-cake, and Gummigoo turning around to see... Pomni. As Ragatha holds Pomni's hand, the little jester seems to be pretty nervous meeting an old friend... for the first time.
