Zahne gets a bigger set of spells from Vhaeraun and can cast silently, as a proper darkmask. It remains to be seen if they've retained that magic while under the Absolute. :^)
I see Cally more as someone who is just "in tune" with primal magic for select abilities, instead of casting spells
