My friend's wedding has ruined me. The event staff kept bringing me vegan food and saying, "Madam Missy, here is your hummus / asparagus / spring rolls / etc," and I will dream of this sort of attention for the rest of my life.

I tried to get into doing Morning Pages but couldn't get the habit to stick. I'm going to try rebranding it to Mourning Pages to see if that helps aestheticize it for me.

Finished after nearly a year of putting this one off. A sort of farewell piece to my Empire Larp character, the art and death witch, Rosalynn Redgrave. May she live happily and quietly outside the chaos of Anvil, painting her favorite subjects and being wildly Prosperous.

"My little butterfly wings are getting kinda tired." Dolly knew the power of leading with love. She is, and will always be, an inspiration and an example. She's been a guiding light in my life and so many others. An angel on earth went home. We'll always love you, Dolly.

My feelings toward Disney are like the scene in Ghostbusters when Ray summons the Stay Puft Marshmellow Man - I used to love it in my childhood, but now it's a giant hideous monster that's come to destroy us.

Finished after Belleteyn, a larp by Efimeral about building bonds and letting go, set in the Witcher universe. I played Iveth Seravelli, a character based on the myth of Eros and Psyche, who lives with a demon sharing her body, allowing her to experience life outside her sickbed for the first time.

If the billionaires would just like, pay taxes and also build public works like libraries and swimming pools and train stations with art deco aesthetics again, I would want to eat them slightly less.

In the age of AI that we're living through, I find more and more that I don't like being called talented. I prefer skilled. Saying someone is talented implies they are just good at what they do. Skilled implies that they worked hard to be good, and is more accurate to the the artist's experience.

death of the author and/or separating art from artist are concepts explaining how the creator has no ownership or control with your engagement with their art, their interpretation of their own work is trivia at best. It is not a statement absolving the creator from their political/criminal activity.

Illustration of bulbasaur from Pokemon, stretching it's leg and winking to the viewer. To the left and behind it are blossoming blue irises painted in the style of Vincent Van Gogh.

2026 is giving The Tower. So mote it be.

Illustration based on Pamela Coleman Smith's version of The Tower card in the tarot. Instead of a medieval tower, Trump Tower is being struck by lightening, burning, and crumbling. A gold, red, and blue crown with white stars falls from the lightening strike. Trump and an ICE agent fall from the tower, Trump's tie in his face and his ass in the sky. Money on fire rains down.
